WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown is set to make an earlier-than-expected return to the USA Network, with the first show back scheduled for Friday, September 13, 2024. Alongside this return, WWE is also planning a significant change for the show starting next week.

NBCUniversal recently announced that SmackDown would be moving back to the USA Network starting September 13, earlier than the initially planned date. This move is part of a new five-year deal between WWE and USA Network, which will take effect now that WWE’s rights agreement with FOX has come to an end.

According to PWInsider, during the SmackDown Lowdown show, it was announced that starting next week, the show will be streaming live on Peacock following the SmackDown premiere on the USA Network.

The new logo for Friday Night SmackDown has also been revealed ahead of its move to the USA Network. WWE has also announced a stacked lineup for next week’s SmackDown on the USA Network, so we’ll have to see just how successful the show will end up becoming when all is said and done.
