It was reported that Shane Taylor sustained the injury in his last match at ROH Death Before Dishonor, but still finished the match. He also was dealing with a labral tear, but the beast of a man didn’t stop.

The injury occurred during his last match at ROH Death Before Dishonor, where Taylor not only continued to wrestle but managed to finish the match despite the pain. Competing in a high-stakes ROH World Television Title Final Six-Way Elimination match, Taylor faced off against a stacked lineup that included Brian Cage, Johnny TV, Lee Johnson, Lio Rush, and the reigning champion, Atlantis Jr. Despite his efforts, Taylor was ultimately unable to secure the victory, with Atlantis Jr. retaining his title. This match also marked Taylor’s last appearance before being sidelined due to a shoulder injury sustained during the bout.
