The Rock’s appearance in WWE leading up to WrestleMania 40 created tons of hype and excitement and it led to him teaming up with Roman Reigns and wrestle against Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins. He hasn’t been seen in months and now we have a potential update on his return status during his hiatus.
On the RAW following WrestleMania 40, The Rock and Cody Rhodes had a promo segment where The Rock made it clear he was not necessarily done with The American Nightmare.
According to PWN’s Discord paywall, there’s growing speculation that The Rock might make another major WWE appearance within the next month or two. While these reports remain unconfirmed, trusted sources have hinted that certain scheduling details have leaked, fueling excitement about a potential return.
With the current Bloodline Civil War storyline keeping fans hooked and The Rock finishing his movie projects, it seems more likely that he could return to WWE soon. His family ties to Roman Reigns make for a great story if he comes back soon enough.
In addition to that, The Rock has also teased the creation of the biggest match ever at WrestleMania 41, as there are plans for The Great One to square off against Cody Rhodes at the Showcase of the Immortals. Regardless, we’ll have to wait and see if The Rock will return to WWE television this year before setting up an eventual WrestleMania 41 program.
