Steph De Lander has made a name for herself in the indie wrestling scene through her talent and commitment, but she was released by WWE back in 2022. She is very popular in the business and some try to exploit that and that’s why she recently called out a fake account exploiting her appearance for engagement.

The advent of social media is truly a double-edged sword for good reason. While it can help pro wrestlers interact with their fans closer than ever before, a lot of accounts exploit pro wrestlers’ names and try to make a profit out of them.

Steph De Lander is definitely no exception to this either. She took to Twitter today and urged her followers to report a fake account, stating that if anyone should benefit from engagement related to her appearance, it should be her.

”Hey can everyone report this acct bc if anyone’s gonna get engagement off my hot bod it’s me 😇 thanks y’all”

On the other hand, Steph De Lander did end up signing a new contract with TNA recently. Regardless, we do hope Steph De Lander doesn’t have to take with such fake accounts who try to profit off her name ever again.
