The Hurt Business, featuring Bobby Lashley, MVP, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin, made a big mark in WWE by elevating the careers of its members and building a strong fanbase. Although they achieved notable success, the group disbanded in 2021, leaving many fans disappointed. Recently, MVP revealed that he’s been in discussions with Lashley and Benjamin about potential future plans, hinting at a possible reunion.
Roman Reigns himself felt the faction’s breakup was premature, a sentiment echoed by Bobby Lashley, who described the split up as something that “hurt his heart.” Many fans shared this disappointment, especially after MVP recently claimed that Triple H refused to revive The Hurt Business, creating lots of controversy.
As reported earlier, Bobby Lashley is no longer part of WWE and neither is MVP, as both are free to do what they want. Naturally, many fans wonder if they will end up reuniting soon as well.
With MVP, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin now free agents, many fans are eagerly speculating about a possible reunion. MVP recently addressed this during a K&S WrestleFest virtual signing, revealing that although The Hurt Business was disbanded by WWE, he, Lashley, and Benjamin are discussing their future plans. He encouraged fans to stay tuned for updates.
“The Hurt Business is dead and it was killed off by the powers that be. Myself, Bobby Lashley, and Shelton Benjamin are talking amongst ourselves about what we want to do going forward. Stay tuned.”
We have also reported that The Hurt Business is expected to revive in AEW. Nonetheless, fans are excited to see if they will end up in AEW, as anything is possible in the world of professional wrestling.
