Pro wrestling has seen its fair share of reality television shows over the years, from Total Divas to other online ventures that found their niche on YouTube. There’s no shortage of camera crews following the lives of pro wrestlers, and it seems Matt Hardy and his family may be next in line for such a spotlight.

For nearly a decade, Matt Hardy’s growing family has been an integral part of the presentation of both Matt and Jeff Hardy in the wrestling world. Characters like “Queen Rebecca” Reby Hardy, Senor Benjamin, King Maxel, and “Gothic Baby” Eevee Hardy have each developed unique personas. With such vibrant characters, the expansion of the Hardy Universe into reality television feels like a natural next step.

On a recent episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, the former WWE United States Champion revealed that a House Hardy reality series is in the works, and they’ve been in discussions with significant players in the industry.

“Something that we’ve been working on very heavily, which we did a lot this week, is a reality show for House Hardy, and that’s something that we’ve talked to some pretty important people about. So we’re working on that. That’s something that’s a work in progress. So that’s taken up a lot of our time, too. We’ve got a lot of irons in the fire here at House Hardy, and I’m feeling really good. I’m feeling very optimistic about the future and what’s going on. I’m very happy with the career path that I’ve chosen recently, doing TNA. I’m very happy with how things have been going at TNA, and very happy with all these outside projects that we’re working on, and it’s giving us the opportunity to really expand our horizons when it comes to stuff like that.”

Reby Hardy has already carved out a new space for herself beyond the wrestling ring, amassing a significant following on TikTok with her regular uploads. With her viral content and the existing popularity of Gothic Baby, a reality show centered around the Hardy family seems like a “wonderful” idea.

Evee Hardy, better known as Gothic Baby, has also gone viral on TikTok on her own, and it’s easy to see how a Hardy family reality series could connect with audiences from multiple platforms.

As for Matt Hardy’s next steps, he remains a free agent following the expiration of his AEW contract. While he hasn’t ruled out a potential return to WWE, only time will tell what lies ahead for the Hardy family. If they land a television deal, fans could get a front-row seat to whatever comes next.

What’s your take on Matt Hardy and his family possibly getting their own reality television show? Do you think that this seems like an idea that could span 5 seasons? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
