The Hurt Business, comprising Bobby Lashley, MVP, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin and they ruled the roost during the pandemic era of WWE. Many fans felt they prematurely broke up and most of them aren’t in WWE. With that said, it appears one of the members may not be leaving WWE.
Roman Reigns thought The Hurt Business broke up too soon, and Bobby Lashley agreed, saying it really upset him. Many fans were disappointed too, especially after MVP said that Triple H didn’t want to bring the group back, causing some controversy.
As reported earlier, Bobby Lashley is no longer part of WWE and neither is MVP and Shelton Benjamin had already been released by WWE last year, so only Cedric Alexander remained. This made fans wonder if Alexander would follow suit as well.
During a virtual signing for K & S WrestleFest, MVP talked about his time in WWE and The Hurt Business, which included Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, Cedric Alexander, and himself. While talking about the group, MVP mentioned that he believes Cedric Alexander recently signed a new contract with WWE.
”I think Cedric (Alexander) recently signed a new deal.”
MVP has also teased future plans with Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin. Regardless, it appears that Cedric Alexander will be sticking with WWE for the foreseeable future and that’s all that matters.
