AEW All Out Zero Hour Pre-Show (9/7/2024):

The AEW All Out Zero Hour Pre-Show opens up with Renee Paquette welcoming us. She then introduces RJ City and Jeff Jarrett. Paquette, City and Jarrett then previews the show, runs through the card for tonight’s show and discusses the matches.

Madison Rayne then joins the pre-show panel and discusses the women’s division matches Mercedes Moné vs. Hikaru Shida and Kris Statlander vs. Willow Nightingale.

We then get video footage from earlier in the day of Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana arriving in an SUV as City questions why “Hangman” Adam Page wasn’t in jail after committing arson on Wednesday. Page was also shown walking through the backstage area, while flanked by security guards.

Nigel McGuinness then joins the pre-show panel to preview the Swerve Strickland vs. “Hangman” Adam Page Lights Out Steel Cage Match. The pre-show panel then brings up McGuinness’ appearance in the Casino Gauntlet Match and asks about the potential for more. McGuinness says if an opportunity presents itself, he might take it. Jarrett then notes that Page has never been in a singles cage match.

Excalibur, “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard and Tony Schiavone then welcome us to the AEW All Out Zero Hour Pre-Show.

The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) and “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn then make their way down to the ring for the first match of the pre-show. The Iron Savages (Bronson and Boulder) and Jacked Jameson then make their way down to the ring next and Jameson talks some smack on their way to the ring.

Tag Team Match: The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens and Max Caster) vs. The Iron Savages (Bronson and Boulder)

The match starts off with Anthony Bowens and Bronson. Bronson delivers some right hands on Bowens, then follows it up with a chop on his chest in the corner. Bowens then returns the favor with a couple of chops of his own, then follows it up with a reverse Bulldog and tags in Max Caster. Caster then hits a boot on Bronson and Bowens hits a twisting neckbreaker. Bowens then hits a forearm on Bronson and Caster hits a hurricanrana on him off the ropes before Caster and Bowens dropkick him out of the ring. Bronson then hits The Acclaimed with a double clothesline as we see MxM Collection watching the action from backstage. Caster then hits a dropkick on Boulder off the top rope, then tags Bronson back in. Boulder then hits a splash on Caster in the corner, but Caster looks to tag in Bowens. Bowens isn’t present on the apron and Bronson hits Caster with a sidewalk slam. Boulder then tags in and hits a moonsault on Caster off the middle rope, then goes for a pin but Caster kicks out.

Bowens and Bronson then tag in and Bowens hits a superkick on Boulder. Bowens then hits a Famouser on Bronson, then follows it up with The Arrival. Caster then looks to follow it up with the Mic Drop, but Boulder intercepts him and catches Bowens as he looks to fly. Boulder then sends both Bowens and Caster crashing into the mat, then gets Bronson in an electric chair position and sends him crashing into Caster. Boulder then sends Caster crashing into the mat and Bronson follows it up with a senton. Jacked Jameson then hops up on the apron, but Billy trips him as Caster gets Boulder up on his shoulders and hits a Death Valley Driver. Bowens then hits The Arrival and Caster follows it up with the Mic Drop for the win.

After the match, The Acclaimed celebrate their win. MxM Collection is then shown watching the action once again from the backstage area.

The pre-show panel then continues to discuss the card.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the pre-show, which is a Trios Match.

Trios Match: ROH World Tag Team Champions “The Natural” Dustin Rhodes and “The Spanish God” Sammy Guevara and Hologram vs. The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese, Josh Woods and Ariya Daivari)

The match starts off with Sammy Guevara and Tony Nese. Both men take turns in locking each other in submissions holds and Guevara hits Nese with a dropkick. Daivari then tags in and delivers some right hands and stomps on Guevara in the corner. Daivari then cinches in a headlock on Guevara, but Guevara hits him with a jumping knee and tags in Hologram. Nese then tags back in and Hologram delivers some forearms on him. Hologram then hits Josh Woods with a hurricanrana, then sends Daivari crashing into the mat and follows suit with Nese. Hologram then looks to fly, but Woods hits him with a kick. Woods then hits a backbreaker on Hologram and goes for a pin, but Hologram kicks out. Daivari then tags back in and wears down Hologram, then tags in Woods. Woods then hits a few kicks on Hologram, but Hologram responds with a hurricanrana and tags in Rhodes. Rhodes hits Woods with his signature open palm strike, then follows it up with a powerslam and hits one on Daivari.

Nese then looks to take Rhodes down, but Rhodes sees him coming and sends him crashing out of the ring to join Woods and Daivari. Hologram and Guevara then hits moonsaults off the ropes to land on The Premier Athletes, but Woods hits Hologram with a powerbomb back in the ring and follows it up with an assisted neckbreaker on Rhodes with Nese. Woods then goes for a pin, but Guevara breaks the fall. Rhodes then hits a Cross-Rhodes on Woods and pins him, but Sterling hops up on the apron to distract the referee from counting the fall. Guevara and Hologram then pull Sterling into the ring and Rhodes hits a Cross-Rhodes on him. Guevara then hits Woods with a cutter off the middle rope and Hologram hits a hook kick on him. Rhodes then follows it up with The Final Reckoning for the win.

The panel briefly discusses the action ahead of the next match and we get the entrances of the next match of the pre-show, which is a Trios Match.

Trios Match: Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds and John Silver) vs. The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn)

The match starts off with Austin Gunn and Alex Reynolds. Colten Gunn tags in and nails John Silver with a clothesline. Juice Robinson and Evil Uno then tag in and Robinson looks to hit a senton on Reynolds in the corner, but Reynolds avoids it and hits a clothesline on Robinson. Silver and Uno then follow it up with clotheslines of their own and Uno tags in. Uno then wears down Robinson and nails both Colten and Austin on the apron. Robinson then hits him with a right hand and delivers several more on both Reynolds and Silver. Reynolds and Uno then send Robinson into the corner and Dark Order teams up on him. Robinson then stacks the three Dark Order members on top of one another in the corner and hits a senton. Austin then tags in and hits a splash on Uno and Reynolds on the apron. Austin then trips Silver and delivers some right hands on Reynolds, but Uno cinches in a submission on him. Austin then sends Uno crashing out of the ring, but Reynolds sends him back in. Colten then tags in and takes down Dark Order before sending Uno crashing into the mat and tagging in Robinson. Robinson and Colten then look to send Silver and Reynolds crashing into each other, but both men reverse their momentum and the Bang Bang Gang members are sent colliding into one another. Silver then delivers some kicks on Colten and hits him with a superkick. Robinson and Uno then crash into each other accidentally, but Robinson delivers some right hands on Uno and follows it up with The Juice Is Loose for the win.

After the match, The Bang Bang Gang celebrate their win.

The Costco Guys then join the pre-show panel and Big Justice teases getting involved in wrestling at some point.

Tony Schiavone then stands on the stage and introduces Skye Blue. Skye Blue then makes her way out on crutches and addresses the live crowd in attendance. Blue recalls her first time competing at AEW All Out three years ago. Blue then comments on her injury and says she’s trying to get back as fast as she can, but it’s just a waiting game. AEW Women’s World Champion “The Glamour” Mariah May then interrupts and says she was there to have her AEW Women’s World Championship celebration, but she will not be doing it in Chicago. May then questions why Chicago is called the Windy City when no one there has been blown before. Blue then says May knows a lot about that. May then says Blue needs some glamour. May then kicks Blue’s crutch out from underneath her and attacks her. May then mounts Blue and threw some punches at her. May then picks up one of Blue’s crutches. Queen Aminata then makes her way out to make the save and takes the crutch away from May. Aminata and Schiavone then helps Blue to her feet and gives her the crutches. Aminata then raises the arm of Blue.

We then get the entrances of the final match of the pre-show, which is a 3-Way Trios Match.

3-Way Trios Match: The Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) vs. The Beast Mortos and Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty) vs. Action Andretti and Top Flight (Dante Martin and Darius Martin)

The match starts off with Shane Taylor, Action Andretti and Matt Taven. Taylor nails Taven. Taylor then sends Andretti crashing across the ring and hits him with a splash, then hits a chop on him and tags in Moriarty. Andretti then hits a jawbreaker on Moriarty, but Darius Martin tags in and hits a double dropkick on him with Andretti. Martin then hits Moriarty with a shoulder tackle. Roderick Strong then tags in and pins Moriarty, but Moriarty kicks out. Mortos then tags in and nails Strong with a headbutt, then hits Taven and Bennett with a clothesline. Mortos then sends Strong crashing into both men and Andretti looks to hit an Airplane Spin on him before Mortos escapes. Dante and Taven then tag in and Taven wears down Dante. Mike Bennett then tags in and follows suit, then nails Dante with a forearm and tags in Strong. The Undisputed Kingdom then continue teaming up on Dante before Taven pins him and Dante kicks out. Shane Taylor then tags in and hits a splash on Dante, then delivers some right hands on him in the corner and follows it up with a chop. Dante then hits a crossbody out of the corner, then tags in Darius. Darius and Andretti then clothesline Bennett and Taven out of the ring. Andretti then tags in and hits a standing Shooting Star Press on Taylor. Andretti then goes for a pin, but Strong breaks the fall. Andretti then follows it up with a Tornado DDT on Mortos, but Strong tags in and hits a jumping knee on Mortos as he looks to send Andretti crashing into the mat. Strong then pins Andretti for the win.

After the match, Strong does some victory laps around the ring alongside Taven and Bennett.

The panel then discusses the card one more time as the AEW All Out Zero Hour Pre-Show comes to a close.

AEW All Out Results (9/7/2024):

AEW All Out opens up with Excalibur, “Daddy Magic” Matt Menard, Nigel McGuinness and Tony Schiavone welcoming us to the show. We then get the entrances of the first match of the PPV, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: MJF vs. Daniel Garcia

The match starts off with Garcia nailing MJF from behind as a banner unfurls behind him with the words “thank me later” written across it. MJF then trips Garcia. MJF then sends Garcia crashing into the corner, but Garcia responds with some stomps on MJF in the corner. MJF then sends Garcia crashing into the opposite corner and hits him with a dropkick, but MJF responds with a jawbreaker on Garcia off the top rope and begins targeting Garcia’s neck. MJF then hits an elbow on the back of Garcia’s neck and gloats, but Garcia responds with a chop on MJF. MJF then sends Garcia bouncing off the top rope and uses the middle rope to continue wearing down Garcia’s neck as he rakes his eyes. MJF then hits a back suplex on Garcia and cinches in a neck submission before hitting a cradle DDT and continuing to target Garcia’s neck. MJF then sets up for a Brainbuster, but Garcia escapes and sends both himself and MJF crashing out of the ring. MJF then slides in the ring as the referee begins a ten count, but Garcia beats it and delivers some right hands on MJF. Garcia then turns MJF inside out with a clothesline, then follows it up with a number of twisting neck breakers. MJF then responds with a back body drop and a back elbow, then looks to fly off the middle rope. Garcia then sees him coming, but MJF hits a powerbomb on Garcia and goes for a pin and Garcia kicks out.

MJF then bites Garcia and delivers a right hand on him as Garcia begins to bleed. MJF then gets Garcia into position for a Tombstone on the middle rope, but Garcia escapes and rakes MJF’s mouth. Garcia then hits a DDT on MJF and goes for a pin, but MJF gets his foot on the bottom rope to break the fall. MJF then hits Garcia with a Canadian Destroyer off the middle rope and pins him, but Garcia kicks out and MJF hits a kick on his midsection. Garcia then gets fired up and delivers some forearms on MJF, then rolls up MJF. MJF then kicks out and hits a German suplex on Garcia, but Garcia returns the favor and nails MJF with a clothesline. MJF then responds by locking in a Boston Crab on Garcia, but Garcia escapes and transitions it into a crossface. MJF then counters into a pinfall, but Garcia kicks out. MJF then cinches in a crossface of his own on Garcia, but Garcia reverses it into a Sharpshooter. MJF then comes close to making it to the bottom rope to break the hold, but Garcia pulls him back into the center of the ring. MJF then reverses it into the Salt Of The Earth and transitions it into a double shoulder submission, but Garcia escapes by getting his foot onto the bottom rope. Garcia then pins MJF, but MJF kicks out and Garcia delivers some chops on him. Garcia then transitions into a Tombstone, but MJF kicks out. Garcia then places MJF on the top rope, but MJF pushes Garcia off and blocks himself with the referee. MJF then low blows Garcia while the referee is distracted and pins Garcia for the win.

After the match, Garcia is clearly frustrated. MJF then offers him a handshake and Garcia accepts it. MJF then goes to attack Garcia, but Garcia sees it coming. Garcia then hits MJF below the belt and follows it up with an avalanche Tombstone piledriver. Garcia then crawls over to MJF and mockingly shakes his neck around before he exits the ring and celebrates with the crowd. Trainers then checked on MJF and put him in a neck collar.

Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana were then shown in a dressing room with four security guards. We then see a separate shot of “Hangman” Adam Page with four security guards in his dressing room. Excalibur says the security guards are there to keep Swerve and Page apart from each other prior to their match.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is an AEW World Tag Team Championship Match.

AEW World Tag Team Championship Match: The Elite’s The Young Bucks (Matthew Jackson and Nicholas Jackson) (c) vs. Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta)

The match starts off with Yuta and Nicholas. Yuta hits Nicholas with a bodyslam and a senton, then tags in Castagnoli. Castagnoli then hits an overhand chop on Nicholas, but Nicholas nails both Castagnoli and Yuta. Castagnoli and Yuta then hit a double shoulder tackle on Nicholas. Matthew then tags in and Blackpool Combat does the same to him as they just did to Nicholas. Yuta and Castagnoli then continue double teaming on Matthew before Yuta tags in and Matthew and Nicholas double team on him. Nicholas then tags in and hits a double stomp on Yuta off the ropes as Matthew holds him in place. Matthew then tags in and wears Yuta down with a submission hold, but Yuta responds with a series of right hands and strikes. Nicholas then hits Yuta with a spinning roundhouse kick and tags in Matthew. Castagnoli then tags in and delivers some uppercuts on Matthew and Nicholas in opposite corners. Castagnoli then follows it up with a double clothesline that sends The Bucks crashing out of the ring, then hits a couple of running uppercuts on Matthew and Nicholas. Castagnoli then hits a second one on Matthew and gets him back in the ring, then climbs to the top and hits a crossbody. Castagnoli then goes for a pin, but Matthew kicks out.

Yuta then hits a German suplex on Matthew and goes for a pin, but Matthew kicks out. Yuta then transitions into a submission, but Nicholas breaks the fall with a Swanton Bomb off the top rope. Nicholas then sends Castagnoli crashing out of the ring and hits him with a hurricanrana off the ring apron. Yuta then runs the ropes, but Nicholas trips him and double teams on him with Matthew before taking down Castagnoli on the outside once again. The Bucks then hit the EVP Trigger on Castagnoli and Matthew pins him, but Yuta breaks the fall. Nicholas then sends Yuta out of the ring and The Bucks hit a double superkick on Castagnoli. The Bucks then look to hit another EVP Trigger on him, but Castagnoli sees them coming and hits a double suplex on them. Yuta then flies to land Nicholas on the outside and Castagnoli hits The Swing on Matthew. Castagnoli then goes for a pin, but Matthew kicks out. Castagnoli then hits a pop-up uppercut on Nicholas, but Matthew nails him and joins Yuta on the ropes. Castagnoli then hits Nicholas with a pop-up uppercut and a superplex on Matthew before Yuta looks to hit a crossbody off Castagnoli’s shoulders. Matthew then gets his knees up and pins Yuta for the win as Nicholas prevents Castagnoli from breaking up the fall.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is an AEW International Championship Match.

AEW International Championship Match: “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay (c) vs. AEW World Trios Champion “The Bastard” PAC

The match starts off with both men going back and forth. PAC hits a hurricanrana on Ospreay, then flies off the ropes to land him on the outside and sends him back in the ring. PAC then looks to fly again off the top rope, but Ospreay intercepts him with a missile dropkick and flies off the ropes to land on PAC on the outside as we see Ricochet watch the action from backstage. Both men then get back inside the ring and slap each other before exchanging right hands. Ospreay then delivers a couple of chops on PAC, but PAC responds with a couple of kicks and jams his boot into Ospreay in the corner. The action then spills back out of the ring and PAC sends Ospreay crashing into the barricade. PAC then hits a boot on the side of Ospreay’s face and sends him crashing into another barricade. PAC then sends Ospreay back in the ring and gets him on the top rope, then joins him up there and hits a superplex. PAC then goes for a pin, but Ospreay kicks out. PAC then wears Ospreay down with a submission hold, but Ospreay responds with a forearm off the barricade and flies over the top rope to take him down, then gets him back in the ring and hits him with a springboard kick. Ospreay then goes for a pin, but PAC kicks out.

PAC then looks to fly off the ropes, but Ospreay catches him. PAC then counters into a DDT and a sit-out powerbomb, then goes for a pin but Ospreay kicks out. PAC then hits a shoulder on Ospreay’s midsection from the apron, but Ospreay intercepts him with a standing Spanish Fly inside the ring and pins him. PAC then kicks out and Ospreay hits him with an Os-Cutter before going for another pin. PAC then kicks out once again and delivers some right hands on Ospreay, but Ospreay responds with a kick. Ospreay then hits a superkick on PAC on the apron and sets up for the Os-Cutter, but PAC catches him and hits a German suplex on him. PAC then follows it up with a reverse hurricanrana to the floor and locks in the Brutalizer on Ospreay back in the ring, but Ospreay gets his foot on the bottom rope to break the hold. PAC then hits a kick on Ospreay’s head in the corner and sets up for the Black Arrow, but Ospreay gets his knees up and rolls up PAC. PAC then kicks out and Ospreay lines up for the Hidden Blade, but PAC sees him coming and hits a backslide. Ospreay then kicks out and sets up for a powerbomb, but PAC reverses it into a hurricanrana and goes for a pin. Ospreay then kicks out and PAC cinches in the Brutalizer on him once again, but Ospreay powers up to his feet to break the hold. PAC then sets up for another reverse hurricanrana, but Ospreay sees him coming and hits one of his own. Ospreay then follows it up with the Hidden Blade and goes for a pin, but PAC kicks out. PAC then hits a reverse hurricanrana on Ospreay off the ropes, but Ospreay lands on his feet and hits PAC with the Hidden Blade. Ospreay then goes for a pin, but PAC kicks out once again. Ospreay then hits an Os-Cutter and sets up for Stormbreaker, but PAC counters it into a reverse hurricanrana. Ospreay then responds with a Styles Clash and a third Hidden Blade for the win.

The winner and still the AEW International Champion, “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay!

After the match, Schiavone called the match an “all-timer.” Ricochet was then shown nodding as he watched on a backstage monitor. Ospreay then slaps hands with fans on his way to the back.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is a Chicago Street Fight.

Chicago Street Fight: CMLL World Women’s Champion Willow Nightingale vs. Kris Statlander

The match starts off with Hathaway sliding a chair in the ring for Statlander to use. Nightingale then slaps it out of Statlander’s hand as she sends her crashing into the mat, then powerbombs her into the corner and follows it up with a cannonball. Nightingale then sets up for a Death Valley Driver on Statlander on the apron and on the chair, but Statlander escapes and hits the chair across Nightingale’s spine before she powerbombs her through the announce desk. Statlander then grabs a table from under the ring and sets it up with Hathaway, then sends Nightingale crashing into the barricade and sends her face bouncing off the ring apron. Statlander then sends Nightingale crashing into the barricade again and places her on the table, then climbs to the top and looks to hit a Swanton Bomb. Nightingale then moves out of the way and Statlander is sent crashing through the table. Nightingale then clotheslines Statlander on the ramp, but Hathaway grabs a garbage can full of weapons for Statlander from backstage. Statlander then sends out the weapons including a bat wrapped in barbed wire and a hockey stick, then hits Nightingale with the garbage can several times and suplexes her on top of it. Statlander then looks to hit Nightingale with the bat wrapped in barbed wire, but Nightingale hits Statlander with three light tubes taped together and delivers a couple of right hands on her head. Statlander and Nightingale then exchange strikes before Statlander spears Nightingale off the stage and through a couple of tables.

Statlander then drags Nightingale back into the ring and hits a boot on the side of her face, then delivers some right hands on her and hits her with a bodyslam. Nightingale then returns the favor and both women nail each other with clotheslines. Statlander then grabs a bag from under the ring as Nightingale grabs a chain from another side. Nightingale then wraps it around her fist, but Statlander gets in her face and hits her with a right hand. Nightingale then delivers several right hands on Statlander using the chain, then bites her. Statlander then dumps out the contents of the bag to reveal thumb tacks, then gets Nightingale in an electric chair position as she looks to send her through them. Nightingale then escapes and gets Statlander up on her shoulders, but Statlander escapes and looks to nail Nightingale. Nightingale then avoids Statlander’s grasp and Statlander’s legs are sent into the tacks. Nightingale then hits a Death Valley Driver on Statlander on top of the tacks and gets her back up on her shoulders as she climbs to the top. Statlander then escapes and delivers some strikes on Nightingale, then hits her with a Spanish Fly and grabs the chain. Statlander then hits a discus lariat on Nightingale and pins her, but Nightingale kicks out at the last second. Statlander then sends Nightingale back in the ring after she rolls out, then grabs a second chain from under the ring with a wrist wrap on either side of it. Statlander then places one wrap around Nightingale’s wrist and places the other on her own, but Nightingale hits her with a spinebuster and delivers some forearms on her. Statlander then hits a few of her own, then hits a Tombstone and wraps the chain around Nightingale’s throat. The referee then calls for the bell.

After the match, Hathaway makes his way out to celebrate with Statlander and the trainers check on Nightingale.

We then head to the back, where Will Ospreay is being interviewed by Renee Paquette. Ospreay tells PAC to find him if he ever wants a rematch. Ospreay then calls out Ricochet, who approaches him. Ospreay then says he is sick of Ricochet sitting backstage and tells him to earn his paycheck. Ospreay then tells Ricochet to talk to Tony Khan, get some wins under his belt and then he can challenge for his title. Ricochet then says he will see Ospreay soon.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the next match of the PPV, which is an AEW Continental Championship 4-Way Match.

AEW Continental Championship 4-Way Match: The Elite’s “The Rainmaker” Kazuchika Okada (c) vs. The Conglomeration’s ROH World Champion Mark Briscoe vs. The Conglomeration’s “Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy vs. Don Callis Family’s “The Alpha” Konosuke Takeshita

The match starts off with Okada and Takeshita going after Mark and Cassidy. Both men then send Mark and Cassidy out of the ring before staring each other down. Cassidy then joins them in the ring and puts his hands in his pockets, but Cassidy hits them both with a double hurricanrana. Cassidy then hits a Tornado DDT on Okada and charges at him, but Okada hits him with a boot. Mark then delivers a chop and a couple of forearms on Okada, then exchanges forearms with Takeshita. Takeshita then hits a clothesline on Mark in the corner, but Mark responds with a splash and a series of chops. Mark then hits Takeshita with a kick to his head and flies out of the ring to land on Takeshita and Okada. Both men then fly off the apron and each take a turn pinning both Takeshita and Okada, but both men kick out. Okada then hits a couple of suplexes on Mark and Cassidy, but Mark responds with a suplex of his own before Takeshita hits both him and Cassidy with one each. Mark then hits a suplex on Takeshita, but Okada nails him with one and hits a second suplex on Cassidy. Mark then hits Okada with another suplex, but Takeshita hits one on him. Mark then looks to hit one on Cassidy, but Cassidy counters into a Stun-Dog Millionaire and hits a suplex on Takeshita. Okada then hits a missile dropkick on Cassidy as he sits on the top rope, but Mark sends Okada out of the ring to join Cassidy and looks to fly. Takeshita then intercepts him with a strike and flies over the top to land on Okada and Cassidy. Mark then sets up a chair in the ring and uses it as a launching pad to fly over the top and land on Takeshita. Cassidy then disposes of the chair and exchanges chops with Mark, but both men do it in Cassidy’s signature style before delivering forearms on each other.

Takeshita and Okada then hits Cassidy and Mark with German suplexes, then stare each other down and hit each other with forearms. Okada then nails Takeshita with a dropkick, but Takeshita responds with a Blue Thunder Bomb and goes for a pin. Okada then kicks out and Takeshita looks to hit him with a jumping knee. Okada then avoids it and Cassidy looks to fly to land on Takeshita, but Takeshita catches him and places him on the top rope. Takeshita then hits a superplex on Cassidy, but Mark hits an elbow drop and goes for a pin. Okada then breaks the fall. Okada then hits Mark with a bodyslam and an elbow drop of his own off the top, then sets up for the Rainmaker. Mark then sees it coming and hits a Rainmaker of his own, but Takeshita nails Okada with a boot and Cassidy hits the Orange Punch. Takeshita then sends Cassidy crashing into Mark to send Mark out of the ring and Cassidy looks to hit a Stun-Dog Millionaire on him. Takeshita then blocks it and hits a belly-to-back piledriver, then follows it up with a German suplex but walks into a J-Driller from Mark. Mark then goes for the pin, but Okada pulls him out of the ring to break the fall. Mark then suplexes Okada onto the floor and climbs to the top, then looks to hit an elbow drop. Takeshita then gets his knees up and hits a jumping knee, then goes for a pin but Cassidy breaks the fall. Takeshita then looks to deliver some right hands on Cassidy, but Cassidy puts his hands in his pocket and hits the Beach Break, then lines up for the Orange Punch. Takeshita then sees it coming and hits the Takeshita Line, but Okada sends him out of the ring and hits the Rainmaker on Mark. Okada then hits a dropkick on Takeshita, but Cassidy rolls him up. Okada then kicks out and Cassidy lines up for the Orange Punch, but Okada counters with a Rainmaker for the win.

AEW TBS Championship Match (“The Brickhouse” Kamille Is Banned From Ringside): NJPW Strong Women’s Champion “The CEO” Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Hikaru Shida

The match starts off with Moné hitting some strikes on Shida. Moné then hits a dropkick on Shida and jams her boot into her throat in the corner, but Shida responds with a trio of dropkicks and goes for a pin. Moné then kicks out and Shida stomps on her neck, then nails her with a knee. Shida then locks in a full body submission on Moné, but Moné crawls over to the middle rope to break the hold. Shida then hits Moné with another dropkick, then drapes her across the ring apron and delivers some elbows on the back of her neck. Shida then hits a running knee on Moné and goes for a pin, but Moné kicks out. Moné then hits a Sunset Powerbomb on Shida off the ropes and follows it up with a meteora, then sends Shida into the corner and jams her boot into her neck. Moné then hits a second meteora and wears Shida down with a submission. Moné then hits a couple of knees on Shida as she’s draped across the middle turnbuckle and goes for a pin, but Shida kicks out and Moné stomps on her neck. Shida then responds with a hurricanrana on Moné and hits a knee on the back of her neck, but Moné responds with back elbows on her in the corner. Shida then sends Moné crashing into the turnbuckles face first and hits a dropkick on her knees off the top, then delivers some right hands on her in the corner.

Moné then cinches in a crossface on Shida, but Shida escapes by getting her foot on the bottom rope. Shida then turns Moné inside out with a clothesline, then delivers some right hands on Moné and hits her with a knee. Shida then climbs to the top rope, but Moné sees her coming and hits her with a Codebreaker. Moné then hits Shida with a Sunset Powerbomb in the corner and follows it up with a meteora, then goes for a pin but Shida kicks out. Moné then hits The Three Amigos on Shida, then climbs to the top and hits an elbow drop. Shida then hits Moné with a couple of suplexes and a Falcon Arrow, then goes for a pin but Mone kicks out. Moné then hits a backstabber on Shida, but Shida nails her with a suplex and a running knee. Shida then goes for a pin, but Moné kicks out. Shida then hits three Katanas on Moné and pins her, but Moné kicks out and looks to grab Shida’s kendo stick. Shida then grabs it from Moné and sends Moné crashing into the ring post shoulder first. Shida considers using the kendo stick, but ultimately decides against it. Shida then hits a question mark kick on Moné and looks to hit a meteora off the middle rope, but Moné responds with a chop block on the left knee of Shida and Shida landed hard coming off the top. Moné then follows it up with a Moné Maker for the win.

AEW World Championship Match: Blackpool Combat Club’s “The American Dragon” Bryan Danielson (c) vs. The Elite’s AEW TNT Champion “The Scapegoat” Jack Perry

The match starts off with both men taking turns in locking each other in submission holds and Danielson cinches in a Bow and Arrow on Perry. Danielson then delivers some right hands on Perry and flies off the top rope on the outside before firing up the crowd and getting Perry back inside the ring. Danielson then climbs to the top and hits a missile dropkick on Perry, but Perry nails him with a hanging DDT off the ring apron. Perry then sends Danielson crashing into the barricade, then places him on a chair and hits him with another missile dropkick. Perry then sends Danielson back in the ring and delivers some right hands on him in the corner, then hits him with a twisting neckbreaker and goes for a pin but Danielson kicks out. Both men then teeter on the ropes before Danielson sends Perry crashing into the mat. Danielson then follows it up with the Yes Kicks on Perry, then locks in the LeBell Lock on Perry. Perry then gets his foot on the bottom rope to break the hold and delivers some right hands on him in the corner, then locks in a double shoulder submission on him. Danielson then escapes and Perry sends him into the mat and both men exchange chops with each other.

Danielson then sends Perry crashing off the apron, then sends him back in the ring and climbs to the top. Danielson then hits a knee on the back of Perry’s neck off the top, then hits a second running knee on Perry’s tricep and follows it up with the Yes Kicks. Danielson then hits a running knee, but Perry cinches in a submission on Danielson. Danielson then makes his way over to the bottom rope to break the hold. Danielson then lines up for the Busaiku Knee on Perry, but accidentally hits the referee. The Young Bucks then slide in the ring and beat down Danielson, then hit him with the TK Driver and line up for the EVP Trigger. Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta then chase The Bucks away from ringside and Perry gets the referee up. Perry then hits a running knee on Danielson’s head and goes for a pin, but Danielson kicks out. Perry then stomps on Danielson’s neck and mocks him with the Yes chants, then charges at him. Danielson then hits Perry with the Busaiku Knee and both men get in each other’s faces before exchanging forearm shots with one another. Perry then slaps Danielson, but Danielson gets fired up and hits the Busaiku Knee on Perry. Danielson then goes for a pin, but Perry kicks out. Danielson. then stomps on Perry, then follows it up with another Busaiku Knee for the win.

After the match, Luchasaurus sneaks up on Danielson and hits a headbutt on him. Luchasaurus then takes note of Perry on the corner as Christian Cage’s music hits and he makes his way down to the ring with the rest of The Patriarchy and his AEW World Championship contract in hand. Castagnoli, Yuta and PAC then joins Moxley on the entrance ramp and The Patriarchy retreats as Danielson smiles in the ring. PAC, Castagnoli and Yuta then join Danielson in the ring. Castagnoli then hits an uppercut on Danielson and Moxley chokes out Danielson with a bag. PAC then holds off Yuta forcing him to watch as Marina Shafir joins Moxley, PAC and Castagnoli in the ring. Medical officials and Yuta then check on Danielson and place an oxygen mask on his face as Moxley, PAC, Castagnoli and Shafir retreat through the crowd.

We then get a video package and the entrances of the main event of the PPV, which is a Lights Out Steel Cage Match.

Lights Out Steel Cage Match: Swerve Strickland vs. “Hangman” Adam Page

The match starts off with Strickland hitting Page with a boot and sending him crashing into the barricade and the ring steps as the cage lowers. Nana then tosses a table and a tool box in the ring, then pushes Strickland and Page out of the way to prevent them from being crushed by the cage. Page then hits a Fallaway Slam on Strickland. Strickland then hits a boot on Page, then jams his face into the side of the cage. Strickland then responds with a flatliner and a House Call before Nana berates him from the outside. Page then hits a forearm on Strickland, then opens the toolbox and grabs a staple gun. Page then begins stapling Strickland’s chest, but Strickland grabs the staple gun from him and returns the favor. Strickland then follows it up with a backbreaker and picks a couple of the staples out of his chest, then grabs pictures of him as a child out of his pocket and staples them on Page’s chest before he staples another picture on Page’s cheek.

Strickland then drags Page up the top rope, but Page pushes him off. Strickland then hits Page in the head with a chair, then follows it up with a Death Valley Driver into the side of the cage. Page then drags Strickland off the top rope and grabs a piece of barbed wire. Page then wraps it around Strickland’s arm and hits him with a lariat out of the corner. Page then sends Strickland crashing into all three sides of the cage, then picks up the barbed wire and wraps it through the fourth side of the cage. Page then then looks to send Strickland crashing into it, but Strickland stops his own momentum. Page then sends Strickland crashing into the barbed wire after attempting to do it a second time. Page then delivers some right hands on Strickland and jams his head into the barbed wire on the side of the cage. Page then hits a kick on Strickland’s head, then follows it up with a boot and blasts a chair repeatedly across Strickland’s spine. Strickland then blindsides Page with a House Call and follows it up with a Buckshot Lariat, then hits Page with the chair repeatedly across his spine and sets it up across the middle turnbuckle. Strickland then sends Page crashing into it with a modified Razor’s Edge. Strickland then grabs a cinderblock and looks to Tombstone Page on top of it, but Page escapes and looks to hits a Dead Eye on Strickland on top of it. Strickland then escapes and sends Page crashing on top of it spine first, then goes for a pin but Page kicks out. Strickland then sets up the table passed to him at the beginning of the match from Nana, then climbs to the top. Page then joins him up there and both men teeter on the ropes before Strickland hits Page with a Swerve Stomp through the table.

Page then hits a Dead Eye on Strickland and pins him, but Strickland kicks out and Page grabs a splinter from Strickland’s burnt childhood home. Page then looks to jam it into Strickland’s eye, but Strickland grabs it from him and jams it into Page’s head. Strickland then looks to continue doing so, but Page low blows him and powerbombs him on top of the cinder block. Page then delivers some right hands on Strickland, but Strickland responds with a powerbomb into the side of the cage and follows it up with a House Call. Strickland then looks to climbs to the top of the cage, but Page intercepts him and powerbombs him off the top rope. Page then follows it up with another Dead Eye and goes for a pin, but Strickland kicks out. Page ten grabs the chair and hits Strickland in the head with it, but Strickland laughs and holds up the number two, indicating his past victories over Page. Page then berates Strickland and grabs a needle, then injects it into Strickland’s mouth and hits him across the head with a chair. The referee then calls for the bell.

After the match, the cage lifts as medical officials check on Strickland and Page retreats up the ramp. Page then considers continuing to beat down Strickland, but ultimately decides against it and falls to his knees on the ramp as the show comes to a close.
