Will Ospreay has emerged as a cornerstone for AEW in a short time and most recently captured the AEW International Championship once again at their premier event, All In 2024. With Ospreay at the top of the AEW roster, he addressed his possible inclusion in AEW’s video game.
AEW: Fight Forever was launched in June last year, featuring a roster that included a limited number of AEW stars. Over time, additional wrestlers such as Swerve Strickland, Jamie Hayter, and Toni Storm were introduced as downloadable content (DLC).
In a recent interview with Gameranx, Will Ospreay addressed the possibility of being added to the game’s roster. While he couldn’t provide a definitive answer, Ospreay mentioned that he believes the idea is “in the pipeline.” He also noted that he may have already taken photos for the game but would need to double-check the details.
“You know what? I’m sure I’ve taken some photos for it, though I’m not entirely sure. I’ll have to double-check. I believe it is in the pipeline.”
Will Ospreay is known to mesmerize fans with his impressive in-ring performances. Moreover, the die-hard video game fans of The Aerial Assassin would surely love to play as him in AEW Fight Forever.
With Ospreay stating that the idea might be in the pipeline, this leaves fans hopeful that Ospreay could join the Fight Forever roster in the near future, as AEW continues to expand the game’s content with new additions.
