WWE has a lot of legends and Hall of Famers that they can call to come back for a cameo. Bret Hart isn’t around very often, so his appearances mean something. He will be on WWE RAW next week, and now we know what to expect.
PW Insider repots that a story is swirling internally that WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart is set to appear in a segment related to GUNTHER on an upcoming episode of RAW, though plans could still change.
Bret Hart’s final two in-ring appearances took place in 2010 and 2011. His last match occurred on September 12, 2011, during an episode of WWE Monday Night RAW, where he teamed up with John Cena to defeat Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez in a tag team match. This bout took place at Scotiabank Place in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Prior to that, on November 14, 2010, Hart joined forces with Edge and Rey Mysterio at a WWE SmackDown house show in Istanbul, Turkey. Together, they secured a victory over Alberto Del Rio, Cody Rhodes, and Drew McIntyre. These matches marked the final moments of Hart’s storied in-ring career.
The Hitman isn’t likely to get physical with GUNTHER, but things could get very interesting if the two are in the ring together. As of this writing, only CM Punk has called GUNTHER out, but he was quickly preoccupied by Drew McIntyre attacking him and destroying his bracelet.
GUNTHER defeated Randy Orton at Bash in Berlin, and he will have quite a show in Canada for the September 9 episode of RAW. We will have to see what happens, but Bret Hart could impart a lot of wisdom on the Ring General. The big question is how everything is going to turn out.
