CM Punk’s return at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event is undoubtedly one of the best things to happen to WWE, as Punk has established himself as a top star once again. In fact, it appears Punk has actually topped the merchandise sales for August this year.

It’s an undisputable fact that The Second City Saint is a huge draw in the company right now, as ratings increase during all of his segments. It helps that he is currently in one of WWE’s hottest angles, feuding with Drew McIntyre.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, for August, Wrestlenomics’ merchandise estimates revealed the top individual sellers. Leading the list was CM Punk, followed by Roman Reigns in second place. Jey Uso came in third, with Cody Rhodes fourth and John Cena rounding out the top five. Rhea Ripley was sixth, Randy Orton seventh, WWE itself eighth, Stone Cold Steve Austin ninth, and Seth Rollins tenth.

The top-selling items for the month included several notable pieces. The Roman Reigns OTC black shirt was the most popular item, with John Cena’s red Farewell Tour shirt coming in second. Roman Reigns’ OTC hoodie was third, and the Wyatt Sicks black shirt was fourth. The Black Return of Punk shirt was fifth, while Jey Uso’s black “Yeet” shirt and white “Eat Sleep Yeet Repeat” shirt were sixth and seventh, respectively. The Roman Reigns Family Above All black shirt placed eighth, with Rhea Ripley’s B4B black shirt ninth, and Jacob Fatu’s black shirt rounding out the top ten.

CM Punk was destroyed by Drew McIntyre on this past week’s episode of Monday Night RAW but it is expected he will be back in time to reignite his feud with McIntyre as we head towards Bad Blood in October. Nevertheless, Punk will continue to sell a ton of merchandise and that is all that truly matters right now.
