AEW has a lot going on, and this week’s episode of Collision set the stage for All Out in Chicago. This included figuring out who will go on to face as the event went down in the Now Arena before All Out.

On the September 6 episode of AEW Collision, the show aired on a Friday night, an unusual time slot for the promotion. This shift put them in direct competition with WWE SmackDown. AEW is building momentum towards its upcoming All Out event in Chicago on September 7, which necessitated the airing of both Collision and Rampage on the same night.

The episode featured several notable matches, including a Continental Contenders Challenge bout between Lance Archer and Mark Briscoe. Other matches in the Continental Contenders Challenge saw Orange Cassidy facing Bryan Keith and Konosuke Takeshita going up against The Beast Mortos.

Mark Briscoe and Lance Archer opened up the night, and Mark won to get a spot in the continental title match in a contest where he was busted open. Orange Cassidy beat Bryan Keith later on in a match that got the crowd going.

Later on, Konsuke Takeshita collided to determine who would get in the fourth spot for the Kazuchika Okada’s Continental Title at All Out. This match was a big one, and they let it stretch throughout the commercial break. After a Raging Fire, Takeshita won the match to secure the final spot in the match. Don Callis was at ringside, and he was all about seeing that happen.

We will have to see how Kazuchika Okada does a All Out tomorrow night. Ringside News will have full coverage of the entire show, so keep checking back for more information.
