WWE has a long and rich history in various facets of life, which isn’t just limited to their Superstars either. The original WWE headquarters was truly iconic for a lot of reasons and it appears the original headquarters is now on the market for sale.

The original iconic headquarters for WWF and WWE since the 1980s, is officially up for sale. WWE recently relocated to their new Global Headquarters in Stamford, CT, just a few miles from their old home. The Titan Tower property, located at 1241 East Main Street, is now listed by commercial real estate firm Newmark, as reported by CTInsider.com.

WWE moved into their original headquarters in 1985, where it served as the company’s base of operations for decades. The building has been a backdrop for numerous WWE vignettes, a Super Bowl commercial, and even an entire episode of Monday Night Raw when a blizzard shut down Connecticut. The original headquarters also famously hosted a Money in the Bank Ladder Match that took place throughout the building, culminating on its rooftop.

Built in 1981, the original headquarters has seen WWE gradually move out over the past few months. While the WWE logo remains displayed outside, the building no longer flies the WWE or United States flags at its peak.

On the other hand, the new headquarters, one of the most prominent buildings on the Stamford skyline, is also conveniently located within walking distance of the Stamford train station, making it easier for employees to commute. The building is significantly larger, with 712,000 square feet per floor compared to Titan Tower’s 110,000 square feet per floor. WWE’s lease for the new HQ is for 16.5 years, with the option to renew for five additional five-year terms.

While there has been no discussion of WWE purchasing the new building, it provides ample space for future growth, including the possibility of adding multiple Performance Centers if needed. Nonetheless, we will have to wait and see whether someone will end up purchasing the iconic original headquarters of WWE somewhere down the line.
