Maria Kanellis-Bennett is facing a challenging time as she continues to deal with ongoing health concerns. The AEW and ROH star took to social media to provide her fans with an update on her current medical situation.

In a heartfelt post on her official X account, Maria revealed that her doctors believe she is dealing with a pheochromocytoma, a rare tumor of the adrenal glands that can cause serious health complications if not treated properly. To ensure her safety during surgery, she will need to take medication to reduce the risk of a heart attack during the procedure.

Initially scheduled for September, her surgery has now been pushed to late October. “As of right now, the surgery is scheduled for October 24th,” Maria informed her followers, expressing her frustration with the delay.

Maria also shared that both she and her children will need to visit an endocrinologist and a geneticist. A biopsy will follow the surgery to determine if the tumor is cancerous. Despite the seriousness of the situation, Maria expressed her impatience and frustration with the waiting process, writing, “I’m pissed. I want to be done with the waiting. I know I should be grateful. I’m just not there yet.”
