Artem Chigvintsev Possibly Facing Charges Following Arrest for Domestic Battery

Artem Chigvintsev, known for his role on “Dancing With The Stars” and his marriage to former WWE star Nikki Bella, has recently made headlines due to his arrest for domestic battery. With that said, it appear he may now face charges related to this incident.

Early in the morning, Artem Chigvintsev dialed 911 around 8:30 AM, reporting a “medical emergency” from his home. However, he quickly called back to cancel the request.

Despite the cancellation, the situation worsened, and by 10 AM, deputies from the Napa County Sheriff’s Office arrived at the scene. They discovered injuries on the alleged victim, leading to Chigvintsev’s arrest on charges of assaulting a spouse or cohabitant. He was booked into Napa County Jail with bail set at $25,000. Chigvintsev has since been released, and the victim is cooperating with the police.

It is to be noted that Artem Chigvintsev is not staying at the family home and has been residing at a friend’s house. Nikki Bella is living in the couple’s home with their 4-year-old son, Matteo.

According to TMZ, the case has been referred to the district attorney by the Napa County Sheriff’s Office. Napa County D.A. spokesperson Carlos Villatoro mentioned that their office is reviewing the case, but no decision has been made yet regarding the charges Artem might face. Chigvintsev’s arraignment is also scheduled for November 4.

We have also reported that Nikki Bella is actively seeking a divorce lawyer following the domestic violence incident. Bella was also spotted without a wedding ring, so we will have to wait and see what will become of Artem Chigvintsev in the end.
