WWE’s Internal Reaction to Joe Tessitore’s 9/2 RAW Debut

There is a lot going on in WWE right now, and the family saw them add Joe Tessitore to the group this week during the September 2 episode of RAW. The veteran broadcaster led the show, and many people had high marks for him after that debut episode.

There was already a lot of hype about Tessitore’s debut for RAW. He really brought it to the broadcast, inserting a lot of history along the way. Now, we know that the internal reaction as positive as well.

Sean Ross Sapp noted on Fightful Select that there was a lot of excitement about Joe Tessitore’s WWE RAW debut in Denver. It was admitted that there were growing pains, but that is to be expected. In the end, everyone was very happy about how things went.

“There was a lot of excitement around Joe Tessitore’s debut, but those we spoke to admitted there would be growing pains and hiccups. Word we got after the show was that WWE were satisfied with how things went, and though Tessitore sounded great on the air.”

WWE has seen many commentators come and go over the years, and some of them haven’t lasted long. It remains to be seen how Joe Tessitore will do on RAW, but he will be under Michael Cole’s wing, learning from one of the best along the way.

Joe Tessitore came in from outside WWE, but he already raked up years of experience. He will also remain with ESPN while fulfilling his duties on the RAW announce table.
