Why Zelina Vega Was Emotional Before 9/2 WWE RAW Match

During the September 2 episode of WWE Raw at Ball Arena in Denver, Colorado, Zelina Vega experienced an emotional moment with a fan who was seated in the front row holding a sign. The sign caught Vega’s attention as she made her way to the ring for her match against Shayna Baszler. It was a sign of Zelina Vega’s father Michael Trinidad, which read, ‘Michael Trinidad has the best seat in the house. 9-11-01 never forget.”

Following the show, Vega took to her Instagram to share photos from the event, including backstage images with the fan and the memorable moment from the crowd. She expressed her gratitude and sentiment, noting how seeing the fan’s sign and presence had a significant impact on her.

Vega revealed the importance of remembering one’s motivations and thanked the Denver audience for their support, reflecting on how meaningful the fan’s presence and message were to her.

During the 9/11 attacks, Zelina Vega lost her father Michael Trinidad, who was working in one of the twin towers before it was struck by a plane full of passengers. Her father might be gone, but she never forgot him, no matter what and that’s exactly why she gets emotional when it comes to her father and fans understand why.
