Ricochet’s move from WWE to AEW has created a ton of hype, especially after his impressive debut at AEW All In at Wembley Stadium. With that said, Ricochet has now revealed that he is considering banning a popular move after joining AEW.

Ricochet is undoubtedly one of the best high-flyers of the modern era and he has continued to dazzle fans throughout his career, whether it was in Lucha Underground, Japan, WWE and others.

While speaking to SHAK Wrestling, Ricochet was asked if he is considering to retire any move from his arsenal. Ricochet mentioned that he’s done almost everything in his career, from the 630 to the springboard 450, even across the announcer table. He noted that the double moonsault might be the only move he’s considering not doing anymore, primarily because he’s getting older and bigger. While he believes that if he practiced, he could probably still pull it off, he doesn’t feel the need to do it, especially since younger wrestlers can take on those risks now.

However, he still performs most of his signature moves when the time is right, like the 630, Shooting Star Press, or springboard corkscrew to the outside. He pointed out that even during his time in WWE, he was doing crazy moves, but they didn’t always lead to victories, which was frustrating. Despite this, he feels confident that everything in his arsenal is still available to him—it’s just a matter of choosing the right moment to use them.

“I’ve basically done everything—the 630, the springboard 450 across the whole thing onto the announcer table, maybe the double moonsault. Honestly, just because I’m getting older and bigger, I feel like if I went and practiced it, I probably could still do it. But it’s one of those moves where I just don’t feel the need to anymore, especially since there are kids out there who can probably do it now—let them do it.

Most of the stuff I still do, at least when the time is right. When the time is right, I’m going to hit a 630 if I need to, or a Shooting Star Press, or a springboard corkscrew to the outside. Even in WWE, I was still doing crazy stuff, you know what I mean? The only difference was that the stuff wasn’t leading to victories—I was still getting beat. So, other than maybe the double moonsault, I feel like everything in my arsenal is still there. It’s just a matter of when to pull it out.”

Ricochet also explained why he feels leaving WWE for AEW was the right choice. Nevertheless, we’ll have to wait and see how Ricochet will fare now that he is officially All Elite, as fans are excited about his future in the company.
