Odyssey Jones’ WWE Status Revealed Following Roster Removal

Odyssey Jones had a strong start after being promoted to WWE’s main roster, but his progress stalled for over a year. He seemed to be on the rise following a notable debut on RAW last month and had been receiving good booking. However, he was recently removed from WWE’s active roster page and missed RAW this week. This has led to uncertainty about his future with the company.

Odyssey Jones made his highly anticipated debut during an August episode of RAW, after being drafted to RAW the previous year. Since then, Odyssey Jones has been partnering up with Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston and became a mainstay of television.

Yesterday, fans were shocked when Odyssey Jones was removed from WWE’s active roster list. Unlike the Wyatt Sicks, whose profiles are hidden but still accessible, Jones’ profile appeared to have been completely deleted. This development has surprised many, especially since Jones also missed this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about Odyssey Jones’ status with WWE following his removal from the roster. He mentioned that while it hasn’t been officially confirmed, he believes Jones is no longer with the company. Meltzer noted that there are various rumors, but nothing has been confirmed yet. He added that Jones was initially set for a push, and the reasons for his departure might become clearer in the near future.

“I am relatively certain he is done although it has not been confirmed anywhere. I heard a bunch of stories but nothing I would say is confirmed. It looks like he’s no longer with the company. He’s off, he’s gone. As part as the reason why? I think that will come out or whatever it is. Obviously he was in for a push. It was nothing to do with how he was getting over. There is probably a story that will come out in the next day or so. There are certainly a lot of rumors out but there is nothing I can confirm at this time.”

We will have to wait and see whether more confirmation about Odyssey Jones’ departure from WWE will come to light soon, as the situation remains uncertain at the moment. Especially after the fact that WWE clearly had big plans for the young star.
