Odyssey Jones has been fired by WWE following allegations of domestic violence.

While WWE has not issued an official press release, Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live stated that he has been informed of Jones’ termination from the company.

“There has not been a press release or anything like that. But I’ve been told Odyssey Jones is fired. There are rumors online, also from Fightful, that it was a domestic violence allegation. Apparently, no arrests at this point, but I was told fired. So, that’s it for Odyssey Jones,” Alvarez said.

This news comes after it was reported earlier that WWE had pulled Jones from all company programming following the allegations. Jones’ profile was removed from the WWE roster page on Monday, and he was notably absent from WWE Raw, with no mention of him during a backstage segment involving The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods.

The firing of Jones is a significant development, especially considering that he had only recently made his main roster debut. In early August, Jones was positioned as a rising star, aligning with The New Day in their feud with Final Testament. He made an impactful debut by single-handedly taking out the Authors of Pain on the August 5 edition of Raw and was publicly endorsed by WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H as a talent with a bright future.

Jones, whose real name is Omari Palmer, joined WWE in 2019 and made his debut in NXT in the summer of 2021. He was called up to the main roster in April 2023, but his time on the main roster has been abruptly cut short.

As of now, there have been no reports of an arrest related to the allegations, but the situation has clearly impacted Jones’ career with WWE. The wrestling community will be closely watching for any further developments.

This sudden turn of events leaves many questions about what will come next for Odyssey Jones and how WWE will address this situation moving forward. Keep checking back with Ringside News as we remain committed to to providing updates as they become available.
