Mandy Rose has been on quite the journey since her unexpected departure from WWE in December 2022. While she hasn’t stepped back into the wrestling ring since then, she recently opened up about her aspirations if she were to make a full-time return as well as upcoming wrestling appearance.

Following her WWE exit, Mandy didn’t view it as a setback but rather as an opportunity to explore new ventures. She has since shifted her focus to premium content creation, a move that has proven financially rewarding for her. Despite this, Mandy’s allure for the wrestling ring hasn’t entirely faded.

The former NXT Women’s Champion is set to make her first wrestling-related appearance after a long time at the Black Label Pro Wrestler’s Combine at Crowning Glory, an event sponsored by Draft Kings that highlights the ongoing growth of independent wrestling. The event is scheduled for September 4 in Chicago and is particularly notable for securing such a major sponsor, showcasing the increased interest and investment in the independent wrestling scene.

While discussing her involvement during an interview with Alfred Konuwa of Forbes, Mandy Rose expressed that her participation in the event felt unique and different, though she has yet to decide if she will fully return to the ring. Rose mentioned that working with Paragon and Draft Kings has been exciting, and while her appearance has generated buzz, it is just a small taste of what might come. She hinted that this event could potentially inspire her to consider a more permanent return to wrestling, but for now, she is taking things one step at a time.

“It was just so different and unique and I haven’t made that decision yet if I am going to be stepping back in a ring full time or in any aspect. So it was just one of those things that it was unique. And Mojo (Rawley) is a good friend of mine, and I’m very proud of the work that he is done with Paragon and I’ve been working with them and Draft Kings as well is a really great company as well to work with. So it was just something really cool and different and unique that maybe might kind of spark something as far as a Mandy Rose return or anything like that. I know it created some buzz and everyone thinks I’m getting back into wrestling for this, but yeah, this is just a little taste, so we’ll see how I feel afterwards.”

Additionally, Mandy has discussed the possibility of joining AEW and potentially eyeing a return to RAW or SmackDown but has yet to make any firm decisions about her wrestling future. For now, she remains focused on her upcoming wrestling appearance, which might set the tone for a grand return to a major promotion.
