Jey Uso has taken a slight romantic interest in Rhea Ripley ever since Mami returned to WWE after recuperating from her shoulder injury. Following the events of the September 2 edition of Monday Night RAW, Uso’s desire to take her out for a date might just come true.

For weeks, Jey Uso and Rhea Ripley have been involved in social media exchanges, teasing interest in each other. On this week’s RAW, at the insistence of Ripley, Jey agreed to team up with her terror twin, Damian Priest, to battle Finn Balor and JD McDonagh in the main event.

Moreover, Rhea Ripley was seen doing a YEET with Jey Uso, Damian Priest and the audience in attendance for the show in an off-air moment on RAW, with Jey Uso embracing Ripley afterwards.

The leader of the YEET movement took to his Instagram stories to upload a photo of that moment and felt confident that Ripley would finally go out on that waffle house date that Uso had previously asked her for.

“Next stop. Waffle House.”

Furthermore, Rhea Ripley doing the YEET after RAW, as well as uploading a photo of herself wearing Jey Uso’s merchandise t-shirt, could very well mean that she is all game for a date with the YEET man, Jey Uso.

With Mami and Main Event One’s exchanges on social media slowly turning into pairing up on RAW as seen on their television programming this week, WWE is possibly heading towards a potential romantic storyline between Rhea Ripley and Jey Uso.

Do you think Rhea Ripley would finally say yes to a waffle house date with Jey Uso? Is this the start of a romantic storyline between the two? Sound off in the comments!
