Chris Benoit was regarded as one of the most gifted and highly athletic wrestling stars in the world. However, years of injuries and being a severe patient of CTE led to Benoit and his family’s life ending tragically at his own hands in 2007.

While it has been over a decade and a half since Benoit passed away, he is still remembered for his contributions to the wrestling world. Moreover, many fans have managed to forgive him for his actions and choose to remember him for his career in the squared circle.

In a recent appearance on Logan Paul’s IMPaulsive podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan used Benoit’s incident as reference to talk about fans’ forgiveness. The Hulkster has been known to make multiple mistakes in his own personal life that he has owned up to as well.

Citing his own mistakes, Hulk Hogan believed that if wrestling fans could forgive Chris Benoit for his actions, they must have surely forgiven him as well and applauded them for being so forgiving.

“If Chris Benoit can do the crap he did and the fans still love him, you they are forgiving … I have made some major mistakes … they are very very forgiving.”

While Chris Benoit cannot be truly forgiven for his actions, there is no doubt that he would live on forever as one of the greatest technical wrestlers to step inside the squared circle. Unfortunately, his legacy will never find its place in the history books of wrestling.
