It’s Monday night, and you know what that means! The post-WWE Bash In Berlin episode of RAW will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the September 2, 2024 episode.

WWE RAW Results (9/2/2024):

The show opens up with a shot of Denver as Monday Night RAW’s new play-by-play commentator Joe Tessitore welcomes us. Wade Barrett then stands inside the ring and welcomes the fans to RAW. Barrett also welcomes Tessitore, who shakes Barrett’s hand. Tessitore then speaks about the Bash in Berlin PLE and says the European crowd reminded him of a Denver Broncos crowd. We then get a video package recapping this past Saturday’s WWE Bash in Berlin PLE.

We then see the arrivals of WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER, “The Best In The World” CM Punk and new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions “The EST Of WWE” Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill.

“The Eradicator” Rhea Ripley then makes her way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe.

Rhea Ripley starts off by welcoming fans to Monday Night Mami, then says it feels good to be able to say that again. Ripley then says it feels even better that she and Damian Priest brutalized Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio at Bash In Berlin, then points out that she was the one who pinned Morgan in the match. Ripley then makes it clear that she’s coming for the Women’s World Championship and calls Morgan down to the ring. Dominik Mysterio’s music then hits and he makes his way down to the ring with a black eye. Ripley tells Dominik to go to the back and get his girlfriend, but Dominik says Morgan is still recovering from what Ripley did to her on Saturday. Dominik then says Ripley and Priest took advantage of him and Morgan and they were jet lagged and didn’t get much sleep. Dominik then accepts Ripley’s challenge for a Women’s World Championship rematch, then says Morgan has beat Ripley before and will do it again. Ripley then calls Dominik stupid and tells him that since Morgan won’t face her right now, she’ll face her any time and any place of Morgan’s choosing. Morgan then appears out of nowhere and looks to blindside Ripley, but Ripley sees her coming and hits her with a back elbow. Dominik then slides out of the ring, but Ripley looks to pull him back in. Ripley then gets tangled in the middle rope and Morgan beats her down as Dominik watches on, but Damian Priest makes his way down to the ring forcing Morgan and Dominik to retreat as Ripley sells a knee injury.

Tessitore and Barrett then speaks at ringside and shifts the focus to recapping The Wyatt Sicks’ Uncle Howdy defeating American Made’s Chad Gable in Howdy’s debut match last week.

We then head to the back, where Chad Gable speaks with Julius Creed, Brutus Creed and Ivy Nile. Gable says he is sick and tired of what’s been happening and then fires up his team. Gable then slaps Julius to fire him up and then American Made makes their way down to the ring for the first match of the night, which is a 6-Person Mixed Tag Team Match.

We then get an ad hyping up that the next three weeks of RAW, NXT and SmackDown could all be seen on the USA Network and will have limited commercial interruptions and next week is billed as “WWE Week.”

We then head to the back and see Damian Priest calm Rhea Ripley down as medical officials check on her. Priest tells her that he’s on his way to talk to Pearce to do something about Judgment Day.

Alpha Academy (Otis, Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri) then make their way down to the ring and the first match of the night is underway.

6-Person Mixed Tag Team Match: American Made (Julius Creed, Brutus Creed and Ivy Nile) vs. Alpha Academy (Otis, Akira Tozawa and Maxxine Dupri)

The match starts off with American Made going straight after Alpha Academy. Julius Creed and Ivy Nile then sends Maxxine Dupri and Otis out of the ring as Brutus Creed beats Akira Tozawa down inside the ring. Julius then tags in and beats Tozawa down, but Otis tags in and nails Brutus with a clothesline on the outside. Julius then nails him with a jumping knee and gets him back in the ring, then delivers some right hands on his spine. Julius then climb to the top and looks to hit a crossbody, but Otis catches him and hits him with a slam. Nile then gets in Otis’ face, but Dupri hits her with a Thesz Press and delivers some right hands on her. Otis then hits The Creed Brothers with a double clothesline and Dupri flies off the ropes to take American Made down on the outside. Tozawa then looks to tag out to Dupri or Otis, but Julius and Nile pull them both off the apron. Brutus then hits a slam on Tozawa in the ring, then follows it up with a springboard moonsault and tags in Julius. Julius then looks to send Tozawa crashing into the mat, but Tozawa counters it into a DDT and tags in Otis.

Brutus then tags in on his side and Otis nails him with a back body drop. Otis then follows it up with The Caterpillar and runs over Brutus, then goes for a pin but Julius breaks the fall. Julius then delivers some right hands on Otis in the corner, but Tozawa nails him with a German suplex and a tope suicida. Tozawa then looks to fly, but Julius sees him coming and takes him down. Dupri and Nile then tag in and Dupri looks to hit The Caterpillar on Nile. Gable then jumps up on the apron and captures her attention, but Dupri nails him with a kick on his head. Dupri then turns around into a roundhouse kick from Nile on her head and Nile locks in a reverse face lock on Dupri and Dupri taps out.

The winners of the 6-Person Mixed Tag Team Match, American Made (Julius Creed, Brutus Creed and Ivy Nile)!

After the match, Gable grabs a mic and sends a message to the Wyatt Sicks. Gable complains about the group getting involved in his match against Uncle Howdy last week, then demands an 8-Person Street Fight next between the Wyatt Sicks and American Made. Gable then says American Made will get rid of the Wyatt Sicks for America next week. The lights then go off and when they come back on, Uncle Howdy is standing on the ramp. Howdy says 375 days ago his sanity crumbled and his path is in the void now. Howdy then says the silence is deafening before accepting Gable’s challenge. The rest of the Wyatt Sicks then join Howdy on the ramp.

Tessitore and Barrett then speaks at ringside and says Bronson Reed was not medically cleared due to illness. A graphic then lists a mystery person as Reed’s replacement for the Triple Threat Match with Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser. We then get a shot of Dominik Mysterio, Ilja Dragunov and Dragon Lee, while Tessitore hypes their Triple Threat Match.

We then get a drone shot that shows off the city of Seattle, while Tessitore hypes Smackdown being there next week for the return to USA Network.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: LWO’s Zelina Vega vs. Pure Fusion Collective’s Shayna Baszler

The match starts off with Vega slapping Baszler. Vega then hits a boot across Baszler’s jaw and follows it up with a couple of arm drags, then looks to stomp on her arm. Baszler then moves out of the way and delivers a right hand on Vega, then places her on the top rope and joins her up there. Vega then escapes and dials it up for a 619 on Baszler’s leg to trip her, then dropkicks her out of the ring. Baszler then charges at Vega, but Vega intercepts her with a back elbow and looks to fly off the middle rope. Baszler then catches Vega and looks to send her crashing into the mat with a vertical suplex, but Vega escapes and hits a Tornado DDT on Baszler. Vega then climbs to the top rope and hits a moonsault, then goes for a pin but Baszler kicks out. Vega then hits a meteora on Deville from the apron, but Baszler nails Vega with a kick when she gets back in the ring for the win.

After the match, Pure Fusion Collective surrounds Vega in the ring and beats her down. Lyra Valkyria’s music then hits and she makes her way down to the ring. Valkyria takes down Deville and Baszler, then delivers some right hands on Stark. Pure Fusion Collective then outnumbers Vega and they take Valkyria and Vega down. Deville then grabs a mic and sends a message to the WWE Universe before putting the locker room on notice.

We then see Rhea Ripley stand on a crutch next to Damian Priest and tell him that it was just a precaution and she’ll be fine. Priest then says Finn Bálor will only agree to face him in a tag team match. Priest then says Ripley couldn’t be his partner and he has no friends, so he can’t have a match. Ripley then tells Priest to accept the match because she had someone in mind.

CM Punk was then shown walking backstage in a non-wrestling attire. Punk stops for a moment to look at the Colorado Avalanche banners.

We then head to the back, where Zelina Vega and Lyra Valkyria vents about Pure Fusion Collective. Valkyria says she has an idea and notes that next week’s show is in Calgary.

“The Best In The World” CM Punk then makes his way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe.

CM Punk starts off by saying it’s great to be alive on a Monday in Colorado, then says before he gets home to celebrate his win against Drew McIntyre in their Strap Match at Bash In Berlin, he had to make a pit stop to celebrate with fans. Punk then says he previously said he was in WWE to make some money, then addresses GUNTHER and puts him on notice. Punk then says GUNTHER put Randy Orton through hell to retain the World Heavyweight Championship and congratulates him and he and the WWE Universe will enjoy dethroning him. As Punk celebrates with the WWE Universe, McIntyre blindsides him and delivers some right hands on him. McIntyre then sends Punk’s head repeatedly bouncing off the announce desk, but Wade Barrett pulls McIntyre off Punk and attempts to talk him down. McIntyre then pushes Barrett aside and hits a Claymore Kick on Punk. McIntyre then gets Punk back in the ring and hits him with a second Claymore Kick, then delivers some stomps on him as officials make their way down to the ring. McIntyre then nails one of the officials and steals Punk’s bracelet back with his wife and dog’s name on it. McIntyre then snaps it in half and shoves the beads into Punk’s mouth and hits him with a third Claymore Kick. Medical officials then make their way down to the ring with a stretcher in hand.

We then see Punk being stretchered through the backstage area with Pearce at his side. McIntyre then shows up and delivers a few more punches at Punk. McIntyre then gouges the eyes of Punk until referees pull him away.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a WWE Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament Triple Threat Qualifying Match.

WWE Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament Triple Threat Qualifying Match: “The Mad Dragon” Ilja Dragunov vs. LWO’s Dragon Lee vs. The Judgment Day’s “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio

The match starts off with both Lee and Dragunov delivering some right hands on Dominik. Lee and Dragunov then send Dominik out of the ring and lock up with each other, but Dominik hits a dropkick on Dragunov and a Michinoku Driver on Lee. Dominik then goes for a pin, but Lee kicks out. Dominik then hits a chop on Dragunov, but Dragunov nails him with one of his own and follows it up with a couple of German suplexes. Dragunov then hits a third one on both Lee and Dominik. Lee and Dominik then deliver right hands on each other on the ropes. Dragunov then pulls Lee off and hits him with a powerbomb, then follows it up with an H-Bomb and goes for a pin. Dominik then breaks the fall with a splash, then looks to dial it up for a 619 on Dragunov. Dragunov then intercepts it and hits a Death Valley Driver on Dominik on the apron. Lee then sends Dragunov crashing to the floor with a hurricanrana off the apron and over the top rope.

Lee then climbs to the top, but Carlito appears out of nowhere and blindsides him. Carlito then nails Lee, but Damian Priest’s music hits and he delivers some stomps on Carlito. Dominik then looks to nail Priest with a dropkick, but Priest stays standing. Dominik then slides out of the ring and Priest chases him through the crowd. Dragunov and Lee then trade forearms and boots with each other before Lee hits a German suplex and a kick on Dragunov. Dragunov then sets up for the Constantine Special, but Lee sees him coming and hits him with a sit-out powerbomb. Lee then goes for a pin, but Dragunov kicks out. Lee then hits Dragunov with a right hand and a Death Valley Driver into the corner. Dragunov then places Lee on the top rope and joins him up there, but Lee drapes Dragunov off it by his knees and hits a double stomp. Lee then hits a dropkick on Dragunov in the corner, but Dragunov rolls him up. Lee then kicks out and nails Dragunov with a jumping knee, but Dragunov responds with a H-Bomb for the win.

After the match, Dragunov helps Lee up and Lee raises Dragunov’s hand.

Tessitore and Barrett were then shown at ringside and they set up a highlight video for Bronson Reed vs. Braun Strowman from last week’s RAW.

We then head to the back, where RAW General Manager Adam Pearce is being interviewed by Cathy Kelley. Kelley asks Pierce if he has found a replacement for Bronson Reed in the Triple Threat Match. Braun Strowman then shows up and holds his taped ribs. Strowman says medical told him that if he could go, then it was up to him and he can go. Pearce then says if medical said that and Strowman could look him in the eye and say he could go, then he would give him the spot. Strowman then says he could go. Pearce then says he will talk to medical.

New WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions “The EST Of WWE” Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill then make their way down to the ring.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match: The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn) vs. Damage CTRL (IYO SKY and Kairi Sane)

The match starts off with Sane and Fyre. Fyre delivers some stomps on Sane in the corner. Dawn then tags in and hits a hurricanrana on Sane, then follows it up with a right hand off the apron. Sane then hits a back fist on Fyre and SKY flies to land on her. Dawn then hits a Hip Attack on Sane in the corner. Dawn then looks to hit a second one, but Sane moves out of the way before she can. Fyre then tags in and looks to hit Sane with a vertical suplex, but Sane escapes and tags in SKY. SKY then hits a double dropkick on both Fyre and Dawn, then follows it up with a meteora on Fyre in the corner and goes for a pin. Fyre then kicks out and gets SKY up for the Gory Bomb, but SKY hits a dropkick on Dawn and a Butterfly Backbreaker on Fyre. SKY then follows it up with a Northern Lights suplex. Sane then sends Dawn crashing out of the ring and looks to fly off the top, but Dawn moves out of the way and Sane accidentally takes down Belair. Jade Cargill then hits a forearm on Sane and Fyre looks to take advantage by rolling up SKY in the ring. SKY then sees her coming, but Dawn sends her face bouncing off the bottom rope. Dawn then tags in and hits the Gory Bomb-flatliner combination with Fyre for the win.

After the match, Cargill and Belair get in Damage CTRL’s face.

We then head to the back and see New Day’s Kofi Kingston try and convince RAW General Manager Adam Pearce to get Judgment Day to defend the WWE World Tag Team Championship given that it’s been over two months since their last defense. Pearce says he’s been trying to get Judgment Day on the phone and it’s been crazy. Kingston then says he has a proposition for himself and Xavier Woods. GUNTHER then shows up and looks Kingston up and down and walks away.

We then see Damian Priest ask Rhea Ripley if the person she was referring to said yes to teaming with him and Ripley says no. Priest then asks what he said and Ripley says Yeet. Priest then says cool and that he still has to have a talk with him.

WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER then makes his way down to the ring to address the WWE Universe.

GUNTHER starts off by saying Bash In Berlin saw the highest grossing arena gate in WWE history and that was all thanks to him. GUNTHER then brags about retaining the World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton and says he can stand in front of the WWE Universe and claim that he beat the greatest version of Orton. Sami Zayn’s entrance music then plays and he makes his way down to the ring. Zayn speaks about the Intercontinental Title being a workhorse championship. Zayn then lists several legends who held the title and says they used it as a steppingstone to becoming a world champion. Zayn then says GUNTHER did that and now he intends to do it as well. Zayn then says he wants the World Heavyweight Title. GUNTHER then says Zayn was right about him and others using the Intercontinental Title as a steppingstone. GUNTHER then says when Zayn had the title, he stepped down. GUNTHER then praises Zayn and teases giving him a shot at the title before saying no. GUNTHER then drops the mic and smiles before leaving the ring. Zayn then calls for GUNTHER to stop. Zayn then says he has watched GUNTHER’s entire career and he’s never backed down from a fight. Zayn then questions why GUNTHER was backing down now. Zayn then says GUNTHER knows since he arrived in WWE, he is the only person who has beaten him. GUNTHER then turns around and faces him on the stage. Zayn then asks if he has GUNTHER’s attention now. Zayn then says he is coming for GUNTHER and he will become the World Heavyweight Champion.

We then head to the back, where Jackie Redmond is interviewing “Main Event” Jey Uso. Redmond asks if Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley has given him any advice for beating Bron Breakker. Jey says no. WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker then shows up, which leads to Redmond making her exit. Breakker says no member of Jey’s family has beaten up a member of his own family. Breakker then says he was giving Jey once chance to walk away and he will lose if he came after him. Jey then says thanks for the advice rookie. Jey then says he will win the tournament, the Intercontinental Title and will beat Breakker’s ass while he does it. Jey then yells “yeet” and walks away.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a WWE Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament Triple Threat Qualifying Match.

WWE Intercontinental Championship #1 Contender’s Tournament Triple Threat Qualifying Match: “The Celtic Warrior” Sheamus vs. “The Monster Of All Monsters” Braun Strowman vs. Imperium’s Ludwig Kaiser

The match starts off with Kaiser sliding out of the ring. Sheamus then follows him out there and delivers some right hands on him, then gets him up on his shoulders and sends him crashing into the mat. Strowman then nails Kaiser and Sheamus with a double clothesline, then sends Sheamus crashing into the ring post and grabs onto his injured ribs from last week. Strowman then charges at Kaiser, but Kaiser sends him crashing through the barricade near the timekeeper’s area. Kaiser then charges at Strowman, but Strowman tosses an office chair at him to take him down. Strowman then nails Sheamus with a couple of clotheslines in the ring and hits him with a uranage, then goes for a pin but Sheamus kicks out. Strowman then charges at Sheamus in the corner, but Sheamus responds with a knee on his spine that sends him onto the apron. Sheamus then hits Strowman with The Ten Beats of the Bodhran. Sheamus then follows it up with a jumping knee that sends Strowman onto the floor, but turns around into the Kaiser Roll from Kaiser. Kaiser then hits an enzuigiri on Sheamus, but Sheamus hits him with the Brogue Kick and goes for a pin. Pete Dunne then pulls Sheamus out of the ring to break the fall and hits him with a shillelagh. Strowman then hits a splash on Kaiser in the corner and follows it up with a running powerslam for the win.

We then head to the back, where Damian Priest tells Jey Uso that he appreciates him agreeing to be his partner, but they have a past that can’t be ignored. Jey says he used to be in Priest’s position with no friends or family. Jey then says he respects Priest and he wasn’t going to say no to Ripley. Priest then says the beating they give the lame ass Judgment Day will be for Ripley.

We then see Jackie Redmond ask Pete Dunne if he has anything to say about what he did to Sheamus. Dunne says she can tell Sheamus that it was a message from an old friend. Dunne then says he is off to NXT. Redmond then asks if she should tell Sheamus that the message came from Butch, which stops Dunne in his tracks. Dunne then tells Redmond not to call him Butch.

The lineup for next week’s episode of WWE RAW is then announced.

We then get the entrances of the main event, which is a Tag Team Match.

Tag Team Match: The Judgment Day (WWE World Tag Team Champions Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh) vs. The Terror Twins’ Damian Priest and “Main Event” Jey Uso

The match starts off with Balor getting in Priest’s face, but ultimately decides to let McDonagh start the match against Priest. Priest then takes down McDonagh. Priest then drags Bálor into the ring, but Bálor escapes and sends Priest crashing into the mat. Priest then sends McDonagh into the corner and tags in Jey, who continues wearing McDonagh down. Bálor. then tags in and delivers some right hands on Jey in the corner. Bálor then hits a series of stomps, then tags in McDonagh. McDonagh then hits a leg drop on Jey, then tags Bálor back in. Bálor then jams Jey’s throat into the middle rope and McDonagh takes a cheap shot at him as Bálor distracts the referee. Jey then sends Bálor out of the ring and sends McDonagh out to join him, then flies to land on both men as Priest pulls the top rope down for him. Bálor then delivers some shoulders on Jey’s midsection and tags in McDonagh. Bálor and McDonagh then make quick tag out to each other before McDonagh wears Jey down with an arm submission. Jey then escapes and responds with an enzuigiri, then tags in Priest as McDonagh tags in Bálor.

Priest then nails Bálor with a couple of clotheslines, then hits a couple of right hands on him. Priest then hits a series of back elbows on McDonagh and Bálor in the corner, then sends McDonagh out of the ring. Bálor then looks to take advantage and roll up Priest, but Priest kicks out. Bálor then hits Priest with a Sling Blade, but Priest hits him with a superkick and turns him inside out with a clothesline. Priest then sets up for South of Heaven, but Bálor counters into a roll up. Priest then kicks out and McDonagh sends his head bouncing off the top rope. McDonagh then tags in, but Jey tags in and hits a crossbody on McDonagh and Bálor. Jey then hits both men with a superkick and a spear on McDonagh before dragging him into the corner and setting up for the Uso Splash. Liv Morgan then appears at ringside and pulls Jey off the top. This then opens the door for Bálor to tag in and hit a Sling Blade, then dropkick him into the corner and tag McDonagh in. Bálor then hits a Coup De Grace and McDonagh follows it up with a moonsault, then goes for a pin but Priest breaks the fall. Morgan then jumps onto the ring apron and distracts the referee, but Rhea Ripley’s music hits and she makes her way down to the ring on a crutch to confront Morgan. Morgan then mocks Ripley’s injury, but Ripley straightens up and smiles. Ripley uses the crutch to hit Morgan repeatedly, but Morgan retreats through the crowd. Jey then tags in Priest unbeknownst to Bálor and McDonagh. Priest then sends McDonagh crashing out of the ring and sets up for the Razor’s Edge on Bálor, but McDonagh saves him. Jey then hits Bálor with a spear and tags in before hitting the Uso Splash for the win.

The winners of the Tag Team Match, The Terror Twins’ Damian Priest and “Main Event” Jey Uso!

After the match, Ripley leads the crowd in a chant for Jey as Priest holds up both their hands and the show comes to a close.
