WWE is experiencing major growth and change, especially with NXT moving to the CW Network later this year. The show will start its new chapter with the first two episodes airing from the road, and the debut episode is already seeing strong ticket sales.

NXT has been televised on the USA Network for a long time, but that will end in October this year, as the show will be airing regularly on the CW Network going forward. It was also reported that the show will remain on Tuesdays after moving to the CW Network.

Shawn Michaels recently announced that WWE NXT will celebrate its new partnership with the CW Network by hitting the road. The debut event is scheduled for October 1st at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. Following this, NXT will travel to St. Louis for show on October 8th. CM Punk is expected to be part of the NXT launch event in Chicago, while Randy Orton will be featured in St. Louis.

WrestleTix reported that the debut episode has sold 4,998 tickets, with 2,493 still available. In the past week alone, 136 tickets were sold. For the October 8th show, 3,103 tickets have been sold, leaving 3,801 remaining. The debut episode is clearly off to a strong start.

The CW Network may also feature top NXT talent on their shows. The goal is for NXT to attract younger audiences, who may then continue to engage with WWE’s other programming. Therefore, it remains to be seen how NXT will develop after making its way to the CW Network, as anything could happen.
