In the main event of NXT No Mercy, there was widespread anticipation that special guest referee Trick Williams would betray Joe Hendry, the TNA superstar challenging Ethan Page for the NXT Championship. In the end, Ethan Page retained the championship in a controversial finish, leaving fans surprised by the outcome.

However, the expected heel turn from Trick Williams never materialized. After NXT No Mercy went off the air, special guest referee Trick Williams surprised the audience by walking off with Joe Hendry. As they made their way backstage, Williams suddenly “turned” around and mimicked Hendry’s signature pose, adding an unexpected and entertaining twist to the night’s events.

We will have to wait and see whether Trick Williams will end up challenging Ethan Page for the NXT Championship next, as it is quite clear that the company has big plans for the Superstar.
