WWE frequently undergoes changes, and sometimes unexpected events force them to make difficult booking decisions. It appears that Bronson Reed is caught up in one of these situations.

On the September 2 episode of WWE RAW, six Superstars will compete in two triple threat matches for a chance to advance to the quarterfinals of the Intercontinental Championship tournament. The winners of these matches will go on to face either Jey Uso or Pete Dunne, ultimately aiming to challenge Bron Breakker for his title. Ilja Dragunov, Dragon Lee, and Dominik Mysterio will compete in one match, while Sheamus, Bronson Reed, and Ludwig Kaiser were scheduled for the second.

However, it was later reported a change for tonight’s WWE RAW. While the triple threat match featuring Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser will still take place, Bronson Reed will not be competing as previously advertised.

Recently, Bronson Reed posted a troubling image on Instagram, a positive COVID-19 test, which was later removed. This raises questions about his participation in this week’s RAW.

Though the COVID-19 pandemic may be less prominent now, the virus remains highly contagious and shouldn’t be underestimated. WWE Superstars must remain vigilant to protect their health, and it seems Bronson Reed might be dealing with a positive test.

This timing is particularly unfortunate for Reed, who has been positioned as a major force in WWE. He took out Seth Rollins after SummerSlam with a series of Tsunamis, and also destroyed R-Truth and Braun Strowman in a fierce parking lot brawl.
