The September 2 edition of Monday Night RAW after WWE’s Bash in Berlin was electrifying, especially as Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest kicked off the show in Denver with high energy.
Following their significant mixed tag team win in Berlin, Ripley praised herself and Priest for their dominant performance, particularly highlighting her pinfall victory over Liv Morgan and setting her sights back on reclaiming the WWE Women’s World title from her.
As Ripley prepared to address Morgan, Dominik Mysterio entered, sporting a noticeable black eye and struggling to speak over the crowd’s boos. Dominik revealed that Liv Morgan was still recovering from their encounter in Berlin and would not be appearing on RAW that night, though he assured fans that Morgan would eventually accept Ripley’s challenge.
Despite Dominik’s claims, Liv Morgan surprised everyone by appearing and storming the ring. Although Ripley initially countered her attack, the segment ended with Morgan and Dominik retreating into the crowd, leaving Ripley somewhat with a knee injury after Mami was spotted backstage with a crutch.
Furthermore, in a video dropped by WWE on Instagram, Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio can be seen returning to the backstage area. Morgan accepted Ripley’s challenge at that moment but questioned if she would be able to make it to their match, gloating about injuring Rhea moments prior.
“What a way to celebrate 100 days as WWE Women’s World Champion and over here by the way, I accept the challenge. Let’s see if you can make it.”
With Liv Morgan accepting Rhea Ripley’s challenge for a rematch, we will have to wait and see the event that will host this heated clash between the formidable rivals.
