Following the success of WrestleMania 2024 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, WWE is already setting its sights on the future, with WrestleMania 41 scheduled to take place in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium on April 19 and April 20, 2025. Now, it appears that WrestleMania 42’s host city has been revealed, with Philadelphia set to welcome back the iconic event in 2026.

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro recently hinted at the return of WrestleMania to Philadelphia during a Q&A video posted on Twitter. When asked about exciting events planned for Philadelphia during America’s 250th Anniversary in 2026, Shapiro highlighted several major events, including WrestleMania, that will take place as part of the USA 250 celebrations.

“So get this, in Philly, we’ve got the Major League Baseball All-Star Game, we got the FIFA World Cup, we got WrestleMania, we got a little golf action, the PGA Championship, and if you go over to Pittsburgh, we’ve got the NFL Draft and a lot more cool stuff happening all across Pennsylvania in the year 2026 for USA 250,” Shapiro stated.

Nick Khan, WWE’s President and Chief Revenue Officer, had previously mentioned that the agreement for Philadelphia to host another WrestleMania had been in place for over four years, underscoring the city’s significance as a recurring venue for the company’s flagship event.
