Spoiler: Opening Match for WWE Bash in Berlin

WWE’s Bash in Berlin is going down at the Uber Arena, and over 14,000 fans will pack the venue. The crowd will likely be at a fever pitch all night, and now we know the opening match for the big Berlin event.

The company announced on their official Twitter account that Cody Rhodes vs Kevin Owens will kick off the show. This will undoubtably be a big way to kick off the night.

It will be amazing to hear the American Nightmare’s reception in Germany, but Kevin Owens is certain to have fans as well. The story that brought them to this point is also a very interesting one, and full of drama.

After the Owens has been there for Cody so may time, Rhodes expressed his gratitude to Owens for his continued support and declared that Owens deserved a title shot, despite Owens’ concerns about his win/loss record.

Rhodes then approached SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis, who approved the match, making it official for Bash in Berlin. What followed was a storyline based around Kevin Owens trying to prove himself as a worthy challenger, while fans are waiting to see if he will turn on Cody. Now we know that fans won’t have to wait long to see how everything turns out.
