WWE has an exciting lineup of events planned, and with Triple H in charge of the company’s creative direction, many changes have been introduced. One of these changes includes the return of an older pay-per-view event, Bad Blood, which hasn’t been seen in a long time. The event is officially making a comeback in October, and the reason behind its early start time has been revealed.
The revival of WWE’s “Bad Blood” event is part of the company’s celebration of the anniversary of the first-ever Hell in a Cell match, which happened on October 5, 1997. That historic match featured The Undertaker facing Shawn Michaels and also marked the debut of Kane, a moment that has become legendary in WWE history.
WWE Bad Blood 2024 will air at a special start time in October, even though it’s a premium live event in the United States. The event, set for the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, on Saturday, October 5, 2024, is scheduled to start at 6 PM EST / 3 PM PST. This early start time is not a mistake.
According to PWInsider, the reason for this early start is due to direct competition with another event from the TKO Group, UFC 307, which will be held the same evening at the Delta Center in Salt Lake City. WWE chose the earlier start time to avoid having both shows go head-to-head.
WWE Bad Blood is a highly anticipated Premium Live Event as it will likely signal the end of numerous feuds that have been built over the past several months, so we’ll have to see if the show will end up being a home run as well.
