Bron Breakker, who won his first main roster title at SummerSlam by defeating Sami Zayn, is set to defend his Intercontinental Title against the winner of a tournament. In light of this, the main event of the season premiere of the September 9th edition of RAW has been confirmed.
It was previously announced that Bron Breakker will defend his Intercontinental Championship against the winner of the Intercontinental Title tournament and fans are excited to see who his next opponent would be.
A new number one contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship will be determined on the season premiere of WWE Raw on September 9. During Bash in Berlin, a fatal four-way match for this episode, which is being promoted as the “season premiere” of Raw.
So far, Jey Uso and Pete Dunne have secured their spots in the match. The final two participants will be decided on the September 2nd episode of WWE Raw. On that night, two triple threat matches will take place: Dominik Mysterio, Ilja Dragunov, and Dragon Lee will compete in one, while Sheamus, Bronson Reed, and Ludwig Kaiser will battle in the other. The winners of these matches will round out the field for the fatal four-way.
We have also reported that the winner of the tournament will square off against Bron Breakker at WWE Bad Blood in October, so we’ll have to see who will end up challenging him for the title.
