Kevin Owens is currently one of WWE’s top Superstars and is open to working with almost anyone, but he has confirmed that CM Punk is not among those he’s willing to collaborate with. Owens has clarified that he is not friends with Punk.
Both Kevin Owens and CM Punk were major names in Ring of Honor, but they have never faced each other in a match. Despite their prominent careers, they only had a brief backstage interaction last year when Punk appeared on SmackDown, which created excitement among fans.
Kevin Owens recently spoke with Mail Sport about his admiration for Randy Orton and was also asked about CM Punk. Owens confirmed that he and Punk are not friends and have no reason to talk. He mentioned that they don’t talk and have no current reason to do so. Owens added that if they were to work together, they would communicate, but for now, there’s no interaction between them.
”We (CM Punk & I) never talk. We have no reason to talk. We’re not friends. We’re not — we don’t — we’re just not… I don’t know. We have no reason to talk. If we work together, we will talk, but just not a thing we do.”
CM Punk and Kevin Owens had real-life beef as well at one point. We will have to wait and see when WWE will book The Second City Saint and The Prizefighter in a full-fledged feud, as fans would love to see it happen somewhere down the line.
