WWE Bash in Berlin finally went down on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany after weeks of hype and waiting. This was a big night for fans, and each of the five matches on the card had a lot of weight to it, including the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles match.

At Clash at the Castle: Scotland on June 15, Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship by defeating Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, as well as Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark, by pinning Baszler and Stark. In the following weeks, Belair and Cargill vowed to reclaim the titles from The Unholy Union.

On the August 2 episode of SmackDown, they faced Fyre and Dawn in a rematch but won by disqualification due to interference from Blair Davenport, allowing Fyre and Dawn to retain the titles since championships do not change hands on a disqualification. On August 23, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis announced that Fyre and Dawn would defend the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Belair and Cargill at Bash in Berlin.

These two teams meshed well from the start, kicking things off with an intense brawl. The heels eventually isolated Bianca Belair, dishing out some serious punishment to the EST of WWE. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions cleverly used Belair’s own hair against her, repeatedly pulling her back into their grasp whenever she tried to escape.

Belair faced a tough battle to reach Jade Cargill for the tag, but after a grueling struggle, she finally made it. Once Cargill got the hot tag, she exploded into action, rallying with the crowd in Berlin cheering her on. The champs quickly tagged out, bringing Belair back into the fray, but it wasn’t long before the champions executed a double-team move on her, leading to a near pinfall that Cargill had to break up. Later, Cargill once again came to Belair’s rescue, disrupting another double-team attempt with a well-timed distraction.

Cargill then tagged in to become the legal competitor, and she and Belair executed a flawless double-team move on Dawn, securing a clean pinfall victory. The match concluded with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill celebrating their hard-fought win in front of the Berlin crowd.
