The wrestling world is filled with excitement as Netflix has announced the release date for its highly anticipated documentary on Vince McMahon, titled Mr. McMahon. The docuseries is set to premiere on September 25. In light of the upcoming release, Cody Rhodes has shared his thoughts on the documentary. He confirmed that he plans to watch it, but also addressed some misinformation circulating about the series.

Originally announced in 2020, the Netflix documentary has been years in the making, with uncertainty clouding its release due to the sexual trafficking lawsuit and other allegations that have rocked McMahon’s legacy. However, it was later confirmed that the series would indeed move forward. It was also reported that WWE doesn’t have production credits for the documentary.

While speaking during the Bash in Berlin post-show, Cody Rhodes was asked if he would end up watching the upcoming Vince McMahon documentary. Rhodes noted that he would eventually watch it and further added that there is misinformation in terms of WWE having no involvement with the documentary.

”In terms of if I’m gonna watch it? Not to sound cheeky, I’m in a deep Game of Thrones rewatch and it’s a hell of a commitment. I think there’s a bit of misinformation in terms of WWE has no involvement in this documentary as far as I know, I imagine I would get around to seeing it.”
