Gunnar Eudy, the son of the legendary wrestler shared the sad news on Facebook that his father has passed away after long fight with cancer. He was only 63 years old at the time of passing.

“Dear friends and family, I am deeply saddened to share that my father, Sid Eudy, has passed away after battling cancer for several years. He was a man of strength, kindness, and love, and his presence will be greatly missed. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers as we grieve this loss. Details for a memorial service will be shared soon. Thank you for your support.”

It has been five days since the legendary professional wrestler passed away but he is clearly in the minds of many right now. After all, the pro wrestling world already reacted to his passing.

As seen by footage making rounds online, soccer club Arsenal played Sid Vicious’ iconic WWF theme song during halftime at their latest game and fans in attendance certainly appreciated it as well.
