It’s Saturday night and you know what that means! The post-AEW All In: London episode of Collision will go down tonight, and Ringside News has got you covered with live play-by-play results coverage for the August 31, 2024 episode.

AEW Collision Results (8/31/2024):

The show opens up with Tony Schiavone and Nigel McGuinness welcoming us. We then get the entrances of the first match of the night, which is a Trios Match.

Trios Match: Shane Taylor Promotions’ ROH Pure Champion Lee Moriarty, Johnny TV and The Beast Mortos vs. The Conglomeration (“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly) and Hologram

The match starts off with Kyle O’Reilly and Johnny TV. Johnny goes against the ropes and we get a clean break. Kyle takes down Johnny, but Johnny reverses it and has Kyle in a headlock. Johnny then runs the ropes and is taken down as Kyle has his arms locked up. Johnny then rolls to the ropes to break the hold. Orange Cassidy is then tagged in. Kyle and Cassidy then double team Johnny. Cassidy then takes down Johnny with a big kick. Cassidy then covers Johnny, but Johnny kicks out at two. Hologram is then tagged in. Hologram flips Johnny over and covers Johnny for just a two count. Hologram then picks up Johnny as Orange tags in. Orange is on the top rope and comes down. Orange and Lee Moriarty now lock up. Lee then works on the arm of Cassidy. Orange then gets out of the hold and locks up Lee’s arm, but he is quick to reverse it and takes down Orange. Cassidy then tags in Hologram. Hologram then works on Lee and takes him down, but Lee counters and rolls up Hologram for only a two count. Hologram then is up and rolls up Lee for just a one count. Beast Mortos then comes in and takes down Orange and Hologram. Hologram then runs the ropes and is caught by the Beast. Hologram then spins around and sends the Beast to the floor. Lee then has Hologram and Kyle is in grabbing the neck of Lee, Orange then comes in, then Johnny comes in. Beast Mortos then takes out Cassidy. Lee and Johnny are then sent to the floor. Hologram is on the top rope and flies. Johnny then charges at Cassidy, but he moves and spills over the top rope to the floor. Lee is then tagged in. Orange then tags in Kyle as he comes in and slaps Lee and then drops him with a leg sweep. Johnny is then in. Kyle then kicks Johnny and Beast Mortos is tagged in. Kyle then kicks Mortos and hits him with a knee. Kyle then runs the ropes and is taken down by a big lariat from Mortos. Mortos then powerslams Kyle. Beast then comes down on Kyle from the second rope with a big elbow. Beast then covers Kyle, but Kyle kicks out at two. Kyle is able to make the tag to Hologram and Lee is in. Hologram then takes out Mortos with a spinning heel kick. Mortos then picks up Hologram, but he is able to drop him and cover him for a near fall. Hologram then runs the ropes and leaps and is caught by the Beast and dropped on his back. The Beast then covers Hologram, but Hologram kicks out at two. Kyle and Cassidy are in. They then take turns kicking Beast Mortos. Mortos is back up and headbutts Kyle and then picks up Cassidy, but Cassidy is able to take down the Beast. Kyle then kicks the Beast, but he shrugs it off. Lee is then tagged in and he picks up Cassidy and suplexes him. Johnny is then tagged in. He then picks up Hologram and drops him and goes to the top rope. Hologram then leaps up and takes down Johnny with a Spanish Fly and rolls up Johnny for the win.

The winners of the Trios Match, The Conglomeration (“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly) and Hologram!

We then get a video package showing the return of Blackpool Combat Club’s Jon Moxley from this past Wednesday night’s Dynamite as well as video footage of what happened backstage with Marina Shafir.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Trios Match.

Trios Match: The Bang Bang Gang (Juice Robinson, Colten Gunn and Austin Gunn) vs. The Premier Athletes (Josh Woods, Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari)

The match starts off with Tony Nese and Austin Gunn. Daivari is tagged in. Austin then goes to the ropes as Josh Woods is tagged in. Austin, Colten and Juice are then in. Austin then turns his back and the The Premier Athletes triple team him. Nese is tagged in. Austin then fights back and Daivari is tagged in. He then takes down Austin and covers him for only a two count. Daivari then hits Austin with a series of right hands. Nese is then tagged in. Austin then takes down Daivari as he is tagged in. Juice is then tagged in and Woods is tagged in as well. Juice then nails Woods and drops him. Juice then takes down Nese and Daivari. Colten is then tagged in. He then takes out Nese with a cutter and then drops Woods with a cutter. Nese then comes in as Colten sends him to the floor. Woods then comes in from behind and attempts to cover Colten, but he kicks out. Colten then picks up Nese and drops him for the win.

We then get a video package of Mercedes Moné successfully defending her NJPW Strong Women’s Title against Momo Watanabe at Friday night’s Capital Collision. Moné then challenged anyone from STARDOM to come face her for the title and said Moné changes everything. We are ten told that the winner of tonight’s main event will receive a TBS Title shot against Moné at All Out.

We then get a video package on Hikaru Shida.

We then get video footage of the 10-Man Tag Team Match at All In Zero Hour, where The Von Erichs, Sammy Guevara and Dustin Rhodes are shown applying the Iron Claw on the Gates of Agony and the Undisputed Kingdom.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Tag Team Match.

Tag Team Match: The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) vs. FTR (Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood)

The match starts off with Dax Harwood and Matt Taven. Both men lock up as Dax is sent to the corner. Taven is then tagged in. Taven then takes down Dax. Dax then drops Taven with shoulder block. Dax then takes down Taven again. Taven then responds and drops Dax and walks on his back. Dax is then up and he chops Taven. Cash is then tagged in. FTR then picks up Taven and slams him down hard. Taven then tags Bennett in. Taven and Bennett then double team Cash. Taven then covers Cash, but Cash kicks out at two. Dax is then tagged in. FTR then doubles team Bennett and Taven, sending both to the floor. Cash then goes to the floor and sends Taven back in the ring. Taven then tags in Bennett and Taven sends Dax into the ring post. Bennett then kicks Dax in the back. Dax is then up, but Bennett kicks him again. Dax then recovers and fights back, but its not enough as Bennett drops him and makes the cover and Dax kicks out at two. Taven is then tagged in. Taven then picks up Dax and suplexes him. Taven then applies a headlock on Dax as the ref check on him. Dax is then up and fight back, but Taven sends Dax to the corner.

Dax then fights back, but Taven hits him. Dax then rolls up Taven, but Bennett distracts the referee. Bennett and Cash are then tagged in and Cash dropkicks Bennett and chops him in the corner as he gets back up. Cash then runs the ropes and takes down Bennett with a big lariat. Taven is then back in as Bennett and Taven double team Dax. Cash is then tagged in and we get two stereo German Suplexes on Taven and Bennett. Cash then covers Bennett, but Bennett kicks out at two. Dax then sets Bennett up on the top rope. Cash ten sends Taven to the floor. Dax then tries to apply the sharpshooter on Bennett, but Taven breaks up the hold. Bennet then picks up Dax and sends him to the mat. Taven is then up on the top rope, but Cash sends him down. FTR then drops Bennett with a shatter machine and he rolls out of the ring. Cash then comes off the ropes with a big splash on Taven as Dax covers him for the win.

After the match, the Grizzled Young Veterans take out FTR from behind. GYV says they are here in AEW because this is where the best wrestle. GYV then says they have been compared to FTR by the useless opinions of the fans. GYV then says they are here to stay in AEW. The fans then start to chant FTR and GYV jaw at FTR as they leave the ring.

We then get a video package on “La Mera Mera” Thunder Rosa. Rosa says the wild claims by other women saying they are the ace of the women’s division makes her chuckle and tonight she will remind everyone why she’s the ace.

“The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer is then shown taking out security in the backstage area. Archer then grabs the camera and says “everybody dies”.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is an 8-Man Tag Team Match.

8-Man Tag Team Match: Top Flight (Dante Martin and Darius Martin), Lio Rush and Action Andretti vs. The Iron Savages (Bronson, Boulder and Jacked Jameson) and The Outrunners’ Turbo Floyd

The match starts off with Turbo Floyd and Action Andretti. Jacked Jameson is tagged in. Jameson kicks Action. Action then comes back and drop kicks Jameson. Boulder is then tagged in and drops Action. Lio Rush is then tagged in, but Boulder drops him to the mat. Bronson is ten tagged in. Darius Martin is then tagged in. Darius then quickly tags out to Dante. Boulder then takes out Top Flight and Action. Turbo is then tagged in. Jameson is then tagged in and Dante Martin is tagged in as well. He picks up Jameson and spins him around and airplane spins him around and drops him. Boulder is then tagged in. He takes down Action and Darius. Action and Dante then double team Boulder and all four of the babyfaces come in and pick up Boulder, sending him down. Turbo Floyd is then in and he takes out Top Flight and Action, sending them to the floor. Lio then flies through the ropes, taking out Boulder and Bronson. Dante then comes off the rope and lands on Jameson and covers him for the win.

We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair is interviewing Queen Aminata and Serena Deeb about tonight’s 4-Way Match. Deeb interrupts and says she is the professor and no one knows the game better than her. Deeb then says she doesn’t like any of the other women except for the Queen. Deeb then proposes she and the Queen work together.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: The Conglomeration’s “The Stone Pitbull” Tomohiro Ishii vs. Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher

The match starts off with Kyle trying to shoulder tackle Ishii. Both men then exchange shots back and forth. Kyle then kicks Ishii and goes for another shoulder tackle. Ishii then sends Kyle to the mat with a big shoulder tackle. Ishii then chops Kyle and thens sends him to the corner. Fletcher then comes back and picks up Ishii and drops him. Kyle then nails the head of Ishii, but Ishii fights back and drops Kyle to the mat. Ishii then grabs Kyle and then nails him with a big right hand. Kyle then kicks Ishii and then drops him with a big brain buster on the apron as both men drop to the floor. Ishii is then up and he nails Fletcher and then hits him with a big elbow. Ishii then picks up Fletcher and drops him with a big vertical suplex. Ishii then grabs Fletcher and then drops him on his back. Ishii then covers Fletcher for only a two count. Ishii then grabs Fletcher, but Fletcher fights out of it. Ishii is on the apron and is taken down to the floor by Fletcher with a big running knee. Fletcher then goes to the floor, sending Ishii back in the ring. Fletcher then picks up Ishii and powerbombs him and both men are down as the referee checks on both men. Fletcher then kicks Ishii, but Ishii comes back with a headbutt on Fletcher and then a big lariat. Ishii then covers Fletcher, but Fletcher kicks out at two. Fletcher then sends Ishii face first on the second turnbuckle. Ishii is on the top rope and Fletcher is up and sends Ishii to the mat. Ishii then recovers and then runs at Fletcher, sending him to the mat. Ishii then covers Fletcher, but Fletcher kicks out at two. Fletcher then comes back and hits Ishii with a big thrust kick and running lariat and Ishii gets up. Fletcher then drops Ishii with a tombstone and covers him, but Ishii kicks out. Fletcher then picks up Ishii and drops him again with a tombstone and covers him for the win.

We then get a video package on Queen Aminata.

We then get a video recap from Bryan Danielson’s promo this past Wednesday on AEW Dynamite, setting up his title defense against TNT Champion “The Scapegoat” Jack Perry at All Out.

We then head to the back, where Lexy Nair is interviewing AEW World Trios Champion “The Bastard” PAC. PAC says if he had his way, he will fight International Champion Will Ospreay tonight. PAC then says he will get his partners and Will can get his friends and we can get a taste. Kyle O’Reilly and Orange Cassidy then show up and Kyle is on the phone with Mark Briscoe. It will be Will Ospreay teaming with Orange Cassidy and Kyle O’Reilly against the AEW World Trios Champions.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the night, which is a Singles Match.

Singles Match: Komander vs. House Of Black’s Buddy Matthews

The match starts off with both men locking up. Buddy then works on the arm of Komander and takes him down. Buddy then takes Komander down again. Komander then comes back and sends Buddy down. Komander then has a wrist lock on Buddy. Komander then attempts to kicks Buddy, but Buddy blocks it and takes down Komander. Komander then goes to the top rope and comes down, but is caught by Buddy. Komander then comes back and sends Buddy to the floor. Komander then runs the ropes and flies over the ropes, but is caught by Buddy and suplexed on the floor. Buddy then picks up Komander and rolls him back in the ring. Buddy then kicks Komander in the back. Buddy then picks up Komander and drops him face first on the turnbuckle. Komander then rolls to the floor. Buddy then goes to the outside and grabs Komander, chopping him in the chest. Buddy then has Komander up against the barricade.

Matthews then hits Komander with a huge knee. Komander then recovers and fights back, sending Buddy head first to the mat. Komander then kicks Matthews in the leg, but Matthews fights and hits Komander with a big uppercut. Buddy then hits a big spin kick on Komander. Buddy then tries to pick up Komander, but he slips out of it and Komander sends Buddy to the floor. Komander then leaps through the ropes and headbutts Buddy. Komander then sends Buddy to the floor, but both men are back in the ring. Komander then drops Buddy with a big DDT. Komander then makes the cover, but Buddy kicks out at two. Komander then hits a heel kick on Buddy. Buddy then comes back and picks up Komander and drops him for the win.

After the match, Brodie King comes out and raises the hand of Buddy. MxM Collection are then backstage and they make a challenge for next week, calling Brodie and Buddy “Black and Blue” and calling their match the Friday night fashion fight. Buddy then grabs a mic and says it’s their funeral.

We then get a video package on “The Professor” Serena Deeb.

We then get a video package on “The Native Beast” Nyla Rose challenging new AEW Women’s World Champion “The Glamour” Mariah May for her title this Wednesday on Dynamite.

We then get the entrances of the main event, which is an AEW TBS Championship #1 Contender’s 4-Way Match.

AEW TBS Championship #1 Contender’s 4-Way Match: Queen Aminata vs. Hikaru Shida vs. “The Professor” Serena Deeb vs. “La Mera Mera” Thunder Rosa

The match starts off with Shida sending Deeb into Rose and Aminata. Shida then takes out the three other women. Shida then stacks the other women up against the ropes and kicks Rosa in the mid-section. Rosa then recovers and kicks Shida. Deeb then grabs Shida and pulls her to the floor. Deeb and Rosa then go face to face. Rosa and Deeb then fight it out. Rosa then drops Deeb and covers her, but Queen kicks Rosa to break the pin. Shida then sends Queen against the ring post and all four women get back in ring and attempt to suplex each other. Deeb then chops Rosa in the corner. Rosa then sends Deeb to the corner, but Deeb comes back and kicks Rosa. Queen Aminata then snap suplexes Shida. Shida and Rosa are now down in the corner. Queen Aminata then hits hip attacks on Rosa and Shida. Queen Aminata then covers Shida, but Shida kicks out at two. Deeb then clotheslines Aminata and Shida. Rosa then sends Deeb to the corner. Deeb then drops Shida with a dragon screw leg whip through the ropes. Deeb then has Shida in a single leg crab hold. Rosa then runs the ropes and hits Deeb with a big running drop kick. Aminata then has Rosa in a waste lock and Rosa gets out of the hold. Rosa then kicks Shida and then drops Aminata with a big backstabber. Rosa then hits Aminata with a big running drop kick. Deeb then drops Rosa with a drop toe hold. Shida then comes in as Deeb picks her up and suplexes her. Deeb then grabs Shida, but she fights it off with big elbows. Rosa then hits Deeb with a stunner and all four women are down.

Shida and Rosa are now face to face. Deeb then rolls up Rosa for a two count. Shida is now up on the top rope, but Rosa grabs her leg. Rosa is now up on the top rope and sends Shida to the mat. Rosa then hits a thrust kick on Aminata. Rosa then picks up Shida and drops her with a death valley bomb. Deeb then comes in and applies a single leg crab on Rosa. Aminata then comes in and kicks Deeb in the back, breaking the hold. Aminata then headbutts Deeb, sending her to the floor. Shida then hits a big spin kick on Aminata for the win.

The winner and new #1 Contender to the AEW TBS Championship, Hikaru Shida!

After the match, Shida celebrates and stands tall as the show comes to a close.
