WWE Bash In Berlin Kickoff Press Show Lineup (8/30/2024):

  • The event will be hosted by Monday Night RAW commentator Michael Cole and The Miz
  • WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque will provide breaking news and updates on Bash In Berlin
  • “The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre and CM Punk are set to make an appearance
  • WWE World Heavyweight Champion and 2024 WWE King of the Ring “The Ring General” GUNTHER, “The Viper” Randy Orton, The Terror Twins (Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley) and The Judgment Day (WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio) are set to make an appearance as well

WWE Bash In Berlin Press Show Results (8/30/2024):

The show opens up with a shot of Berlin and the Uber Arena, the site of tonight’s episode of SmackDown and tomorrow’s Bash In Berlin PLE. We then see the arrivals of “The Scottish Warrior” Drew McIntyre, “The Best In The World” CM Punk, The Terror Twins (Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley) and The Judgment Day’s WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio.

We then get a video package of WWE Bash In Berlin.

We then see the arrivals of WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The Ring General” GUNTHER and “The Viper” Randy Orton. Michael Cole then welcomes us to the show and asks the fans if they are ready for tonight’s SmackDown and tomorrow’s Bash In Berlin and says he knows they will be loud for both shows . Cole then introduces The Miz and Miz makes his way out. The fans then chants “Miz Is Awesome.”

Miz says he will be all over the Countdown to Bash In Berlin show. Miz then tells the crowd what he has experienced in Berlin over the past few days. Miz then tells the crowd that he will introduce them to one of the Superstars that has a match at Bash In Berlin and he introduces CM Punk and Punk makes his way out.

The crowd then sings Punk’s theme music and chants his name. Cole then says he guesses Punkies are greater then Swifties. Cole then talks about the Strap Match Punk has with Drew McIntyre tomorrow night. Punk then says this is the first time he has been in Germany in quite some time. Cole then tells Punk the memories he has in Strap Matches and Punk talks about how he will take the skin off of McIntyre’s back. Cole then asks Punk if he has the advantage and Punk says he has the advantage in the match because of the fans. Cole then asks about losing to McIntyre and how he doesn’t have to keep his emotions in check in the match and Punk says he will beat McIntyre down. Cole then asks Punk what happens if he can’t beat McIntyre tomorrow and get his bracelet back and Punk says he doesn’t plan on losing and he will keep it positive, stay focused and win. Punk then says he will hurt McIntyre and move on to bigger and better things.

Cole then asks the fans if it is always this hot in Berlin and he introduces McIntyre and McIntyre makes his way out. The crowd then boos McIntyre and chants Punk’s name. Cole then says the fans don’t like McIntyre and McIntyre asks just one reason why they don’t like him and the fans chant “a**hole” to him. McIntyre then talks about the pandemic era and how he was the champion then and points out a “Drew Fattintyre” sign in the crowd. Cole then asks McIntyre why he wants another match with Punk if he already beat him at SummerSlam and McIntyre says Punk asked for it. McIntyre then says what do you think will happen to Punk if he hits Punk with a strap. McIntyre then says Punk will be gone from WWE. Cole then says McIntyre has not won a match in a long time either. McIntyre then says Cole is a mark and Cole says he is a mark, but Drew McIntyre makes IG videos. Cole then asks McIntyre if he will let this go if he beats Punk at Bash In Berlin and McIntyre says he will eliminate Punk from WWE. McIntyre then speaks German to the crowd. Cole then shows us a shot of the Bash In Berlin store.

We then get a video package on WWE couples.

Cole then introduces The Judgment Day’s WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan and “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and they make their way out. Morgan then tells Cole he didn’t really announce them with passion and tells Cole and the fans that they are jealous of Dominik. Morgan then tells the fans they are not as successful as Dominik. Morgan then tells Dominik to tell the fans how they will beat the Terror Twins and the crowd boos him. The crowd boos Dominik more when he speaks and The Terror Twins (Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley) make their way out as The Judgment Day suddenly run away. The crowd then sings Ripley’s theme music. Priest tells the fans the Terror Twins have arrived and the crowd chants. Priest then says the hiding and running will stop and the new Judgment Day will get beat. Priest then says the Terror Twins will do some bashing tomorrow night and Ripley says all the new Judgment Day does is run. Ripley then says all Dominik does is run his mouth and Priest even punched Bad Bunny for him. Ripley then says she does not know how many times she saved Dominik’s ass and how Dominik is being manipulated. Priest then says he like his new family. Ripley then asks the fans if they think the Terror Twins will be victorious tomorrow at Bash In Berlin and Priest says let the beatings begin.

We then get a video package on the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match at Bash In Berlin between “The Ring General” GUNTHER and “The Viper” Randy Orton.

Cole then talks about how this is the first time WWE has done television in 20 plus years and tonight and tomorrow night they will do it again back-to-back. Cole then introduces WWE World Heavyweight Championship Match at Bash In Berlin between “The Ring General” GUNTHER and GUNTHER makes his way out. The crowd then sings a foreign song to GUNTHER and Cole says it has been a long time since he was cheered like this. Cole then asks GUNTHER what Westside Extreme means to him and GUNTHER speaks German and the crowd cheers for him. GUNTHER then speaks his native language ever more and the crowd responds. Cole then says GUNTHER set the record for being the NXT UK Champion for over 800 days and the Intercontinental Champion for 666 days and asks if he will be able to do the same with his World Title and GUNTHER says yeah. Cole then asks if GUNTHER can respect Randy Orton and GUNTHER speaks even more of his native language. Cole then says there will be no physicality between GUNTHER and Randy Orton and introduces Orton and Orton makes his way out.

The crowd then sings Orton’s theme music. Orton says he went online on a website and he is almost 70% German. Orton then says he is truly home and he will walk out of the arena a 15-time World Champion. Cole then says maybe GUNTHER does not have an advantage and Orton says not at all. Cole then says he had an interview with Orton, which will be shown at the Countdown show and asks him why pursue the World Title now. Orton says he will not abandon the fans this time for being with him and thanks them. Cole then asks Orton how important it is for him to be a 15-time World Champion and Orton says he is in amazing company with Ric Flair, John Cena and Triple H. Orton then talks about the finish of King of the Ring and how he signed a 5-year extension with the WWE and how he wants to be a 15, 16 or 17-time World Champion. Cole then tells GUNTHER many people have said he is scared of Randy Orton and asks if it is true and GUNTHER says he made it personal because he takes the World Title personal. Orton then says he knows GUNTHER is not scared of him and he knows he is a bad MF and they will make history tomorrow night and he does not care who the crowd chants for. GUNTHER and Orton then have a face-off and the show comes to a close.
