Randy Orton Confirms Length of Newly Signed WWE Contract

Randy Orton, one of WWE’s most enduring and popular stars, has confirmed the length of his new contract with the company while addressing his future aspirations. Since making his return to WWE TV in November 2023, Orton has continued to prove why he’s a fan favorite and a top-tier competitor.

Amid reports of a new deal, Orton has now officially confirmed that he has signed a five-year contract extension with WWE. During the Bash In Berlin Kickoff show on Friday, August 30, Orton spoke about his ambitions for the coming years, revealing his desire to add to his already impressive list of accomplishments.

“Already I’m in amazing company with Flair, Cena, and then I’m tied at 14 world titles with Triple H. So I’m in very good company,” Orton stated. “I would almost say that after I was given my second chance at in-ring competition, that I was satisfied. But then we had the King of the Ring.”

Orton also reflected on his recent opportunity to face GUNTHER for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship at Bash In Berlin, a match that arose after a controversial finish at King of the Ring.

“Then the finish happened at King of the Ring where my shoulders weren’t all the way down and I got an opportunity – an opportunity to face GUNTHER at Bash In Berlin for the world title,” he explained.

Orton, who has held 14 world championships during his illustrious career, made it clear that he’s far from done.

“I’ve got some time left to do this, I feel better than I’ve felt in over a decade, I want that title, and I want to be a 15-time world champion and then a 16-time world champion, and even a 17-time world champion, and set yet another record here in the WWE.”

As Orton prepares to challenge GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship at the Bash In Berlin premium live event on August 31, fans are eagerly anticipating whether “The Viper” can add another chapter to his already legendary career.

Orton’s pursuit of more world titles is sure to be a storyline to watch in the coming years, as he aims to solidify his legacy even further in WWE history.
