CM Punk made his highly anticipated return to WWE at the 2023 Survivor Series in his hometown of Chicago, Illinois, marking his first appearance with the company in a decade. Punk’s comeback was derailed by an injury, however, he was cleared for in-ring action and is now set for his first International WWE Premium Live Event.

During the 2024 Royal Rumble match, Punk suffered a serious injury at the hands of Drew McIntyre, resulting in a torn triceps that sidelined him for nearly seven months. He made his return at SummerSlam, facing off against McIntyre in a highly anticipated match.

Now, CM Punk is set to face Drew McIntyre once again in a strap match at WWE’s upcoming Premium Live Event, Bash in Berlin, writing the second chapter of their heated rivalry that has been brewing for months.

The Best in the World arrived in Berlin earlier today and headed straight to the Uber Arena, the sight of WWE Bash in Berlin. In a video dropped by WWE on Instagram, Punk can be seen greeting the fans outside the venue in attendance for the kick-off show. He jokingly signed one of Drew McIntyre’s fan sign and even hosted a child above his head.

With Punk appearing ahead of the WWE Bash in Berlin kick-off show, it is expected that he would be involved in some capacity, possibly in a face-off with Drew McIntyre before they square-off in a Strap match tomorrow.
