Bryan Danielson was truly the man of the hour last week as he faced Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship at the All In pay-per-view. With that said, it appears AEW already has someone in mind to dethrone Danielson.

The past week has been a very significant time for AEW, as Bryan Danielson ended up defeating Swerve Strickland for the AEW World Championship in the main event of the AEW All In pay-per-view.

According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there has been strong discussion about Darby Allin potentially defeating Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship.

For the time being, Bryan Danielson is set to defend his AEW World Championship against Jack Perry at the All Out pay-per-view in September. Nonetheless, we’ll have to see if Allin will end up defeating The American Dragon for the title this year.
