WWE NXT has been filmed in Orlando since it began, but a major shift might be coming. The Performance Center, which has been a key part of NXT’s operations, was reportedly set to move to Las Vegas. Although there were doubts about this move happening, it now seems that WWE could be planning to have two Performance Centers—one in Orlando and another in Las Vegas.

Wrestle Votes reported WWE’s Performance Center is going to relocate from their long-standing Orlando home to Las Vegas and the move will be taking place in the near future, but it was then reported that WWE denied plans to move the Performance Center from Orlando to Las Vegas and they had no intention of relocating to Las Vegas.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about the possibility of WWE having two Performance Centers, one in Orlando and a new one in Las Vegas. He mentioned that while it’s true WWE is considering something in Vegas, it doesn’t necessarily mean they will be closing the Orlando location. Instead, WWE might end up with two Performance Centers.

Meltzer stated that details are still scarce, with only a few people within the company aware of the full plans. He noted that Las Vegas is a significant sports market, and WWE sees value in being involved there. Later in the day, Meltzer was told by someone within WWE that the company might indeed establish a second Performance Center in Las Vegas while keeping the original one in Orlando. Although this isn’t an official announcement, it’s the information he received from a credible source within WWE.

“It’s true but that’s not saying we are going to drop Orlando. It might be two performance centers. It might be moving but they are going to do something in Vegas. Almost nobody knows anything. There are people that know, but very few. Almost nobody knows.

Vegas has been a big sports market and we should be involved in that. Later in the day I was told we would have ‘two’. We are going to have one in Orlando and one in Las Vegas. That was the story I was told later in the day. Not an official story but from someone there, that was the basic thing.

We will have to wait and see whether WWE will end up launching another Performance Center in Las Vegas, as there is certainly the market for it and it could lead to great results for the company’s future expansion plans.
