Adam Page had been absent from AEW television since his loss at AEW Revolution and fans wondered when he would be back. They got their answer when he returned on the July 3 edition of AEW Dynamite and the reason behind Page taking an extended break from television has been revealed.

Adam Page would defeat Jeff Jarrett to advance to the semi-finals of the Owen Hart Cup tournament, but would ultimately lose. Since then, Page has been involved on AEW television frequently for good measure.

According to Fightful Select, it has been reported that Adam Page was taking time off because his wife is pregnant with their second child. Page had included a detailed paternity leave clause in his AEW contract to allow for this break. Swerve Strickland mentioned this during an episode of AEW Dynamite.

Adam Page and Swerve Strickland are scheduled to continue their feud at All Out, where they will face off in a Steel Cage Match to settle their rivalry. Therefore, there’s a ton of hype for the match as many fans feel their feud has been one of the best in recent memory.
