Sting retired from in-ring competition, doing so with his sons and Darby Allin by his side. Steven Borden, Sting’s son, is training to become a pro wrestler, as he was inspired by his father’s career. His brother, Garrett, has no idea what his father is doing next, even though he was last spotted at AEW All In.

Sting retired earlier this year, marking the end of his storied career with a final match alongside Darby Allin and his sons, Steven and Garrett. In a tribute to their father’s legacy, Garrett embodied “Surfer Sting,” while Steven took on the persona of “Wolfpac Sting.” This experience seems to have ignited a passion for wrestling in at least one of Sting’s sons.

Speaking on his Elden Ring stream, Sting’s son Garrett Borden briefly spoke on seeing his father at AEW All In. When it comes to what Sting is doing next, he has no idea what’s next.

“If you watch my dad’s post-Revolution press conference, I know Tony had said, ‘It would be cool to have him around a little bit more.’ I don’t know any of my dad’s plans or anything like that, but it was cool to see that happen. Even since his retirement, he’s been doing ComicCons and that sort of thing.”

During AEW All In, Sting ran to the ring so he could help Darby Allin out. This was a big moment in Wembley Stadium, but there is no way of telling how long it will be until he returns.

Sting’s son Steven Borden is currently training with Darby Allin for a potential career in professional wrestling. Allin, who has a ring in his backyard, shared that Steven’s participation in AEW Revolution sparked his interest in pursuing wrestling seriously. Steven is a former college football player, and he is also so dedicated to his training that he’s been camping in a tent in Allin’s front yard

Darby Allin already said that teaming with Steven Borden would be a full circle moment. Following his appearance at AEW Revolution earlier this year, Steven Borden started training for a wrestling career under the guidance of his father’s protégé. We will have to see if Sting ever makes any sort of return, but he’s certainly not opposed to it.
