Gabe Kidd has made strong claims about New Japan Pro Wrestling, asserting that it is the top place for the best wrestlers in the business to compete. He is a trash talker and has now admitted that he drunkenly calls out AEW and WWE stars on Twitter for fun.

Gabe Kidd, who is a current NJPW champion, is undoubtedly one of the rising stars in the professional wrestling landscape and there is nothing he won’t do to generate headlines and get under people’s skins.

While speaking to Adrian Hernandez, Gabe Kidd was asked about his thoughts on WWE and AEW’s style of professional wrestling. Gabe Kidd stated that he couldn’t care less about what others are doing. He emphasized that his focus is on wrestling in Japan and managing his business there.

Kidd admitted that he gets drunk and occasionally calls out AEW and WWE stars on Twitter for fun but doesn’t seriously think about them. Kidd stated that if any of them ever came to Japan, he would demolish and embarrass them, regardless of who they are—whether it’s MJF, Danny Garcia, Ospreay, or FTR. He challenged them to a match, whether tag team or singles, and asserted that he, Jake Lee, and his team are currently leading in pro wrestling. He advised them to stay in their lane and stick to their TV promos.

“I couldn’t give less of a s*** to be honest. I wrestle in Japan; my business is in Japan. Why would I waste time thinking about what they’re doing? I call their guys out for fun. I get drunk, hop on Twitter, and call their guys out for fun. But they’re not— they’re just at the back of my mind. I don’t give a [expletive] about them. What I will say is, if they ever come to Japan, I’ll demolish and embarrass every single one of them. I don’t care who it is. I don’t care if it’s tag team, singles, anything. MJF, Danny Garcia, Ospreay, any of those little rats, FTR— you want to hop on a tag? Let’s do it. I’m here, active, and so is J Lee. So are all the dogs. We’re running pro wrestling right now. So stay in your own lane and stick to doing your little in-ring promos on TV.”

Gabe Kidd even claimed that the G1 Climax tournament is superior to the King of the Ring tournament. Regardless, Kidd will continue to run his mouth no matter what and that’s unlikely to change anytime soon.
