Kayla Braxton, who became a familiar face to wrestling fans as part of WWE’s broadcast crew, has officially moved on from the wrestling business.

During an appearance on the Insight podcast, Braxton confirmed that her time in the world of professional wrestling is over, though she left the door slightly open for a possible future cameo.

“Yeah, I think so… I mean, there’s always the possibility that maybe I pop back in for a fun cameo or something down the road. But yeah, I think my time is done,” Braxton shared when asked if her wrestling career had truly come to an end.

Braxton also addressed the speculation that often surrounds women who leave WWE, with fans frequently guessing that they might join AEW or start an OnlyFans account. However, she made it clear that she has no interest in pursuing either path. Instead, her departure from WWE had been a long time coming, as she had been contemplating her next career move for some time.

“I think it’s something I’ve been kind of contemplating for a while. I think once I stepped down from The Bump, I moved to Los Angeles, it was very clear I was kind of trying to find what my next phase of life was going to be, career-wise,” Braxton explained.

Despite leaving WWE, Braxton had nothing but praise for the company, describing her exit as “amicable” and expressing gratitude for the support she received. While she currently has no plans for a full-time return to wrestling, she acknowledged that the “door is always open,” which she appreciated.

With her wrestling career behind her, the 33-year-old Braxton—now using her real name, Kayla Becker—has shifted her focus to acting. Last month, she wrapped up filming for her role in a new movie titled Stranglehold.

While Braxton was tight-lipped about the film’s plot, she did reveal that it’s set in a strip club, though she emphasized that her character, Crystal, does not strip. The film also features notable actors such as Ashley Benson (Pretty Little Liars), Ron Perlman (Hellboy), and Justin Long (Tusk).

As Braxton embarks on this new chapter in her career, fans are excited to see what the future holds for her in the world of acting.
