TNA Wrestling and WWE worked together a couple of this over the past year and renewed their partnership in May when Jordynne Grace appeared on NXT. That’s why TNA star Rosemary made her debut on NXT this week and now she revealed the reason for her appearance.
On the August 27th episode of NXT, Rosemary was revealed as the surprise opponent for NXT Women’s Champion Kelani Jordan. Wendy Choo chose Rosemary to challenge Jordan, but despite a strong effort, the champion secured the victory. Following the match, Choo attacked Jordan, choking her out after the bell.
In an NXT exclusive interview, Rosemary was asked about her relationship with Wendy Choo. Rosemary explained that when a fellow demon, like Wendy, calls for help, it’s only natural to respond, even if they don’t always agree.
Rosemary emphasized that although they didn’t win the match, they succeeded in getting into Jordan’s head. She pointed out that by the end of the night, Jordan was on her back, under Wendy’s control, which symbolized how the future is within their grasp.
“Wendy, darling Wendy sent the call, and when your kinsman calls for help, you come to help. Even if we don’t always see eye to eye, even if we rule different realms, demons help demons. Wendy needed a hand. But what do you mean we didn’t get what we wanted from Kelani? Sure, we didn’t get the win, but we got in her head, didn’t we? Was she standing at the end of the night? No. She was on her back, clutched in Wendy’s grasp, just as the future is clutched in ours.”
We will have to wait and see whether Rosemary will make more appearances on NXT television in the coming weeks as it is clear WWE and TNA’s partnership continues to flourish even now.
