Tay Melo Confirms She Is Medically Cleared for In-Ring Return

Tay Melo is known for her relentless drive and dedication in AEW. After being absent from in-ring action for a significant period, she has confirmed that she is cleared to make her return to the ring.

Sammy Guevara’s wife has been absent from the ring since March 2023, a hiatus prompted by the announcement at AEW Double or Nothing that she and Sammy were expecting a child. Their daughter, Luna Melo Guevara, was born last November, marking a joyous milestone for the couple.

It was reported that Tay Melo is currently training for an in-ring return. Melo also confirmed that she will be getting new entrance theme song once she returns to AEW television.

In a recent episode of Sammy Guevara’s vlog, Tay Melo, along with Guevara and their daughter Luna, was seen at Wembley Stadium, just days before AEW’s All In 2024 event. During the vlog, Guevara asked Tay Melo about the rumors surrounding her potential return to AEW. Melo responded by saying that while they would need to discuss her AEW return with Tony Khan, she was medically cleared to return to in-ring action.

“You gotta call Tony Khan and ask him; I don’t know about that. I’m cleared now. I’ll tell you that I’m cleared… Mama’s cleared now, just got cleared, so.”

Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see what AEW will have planned for Tay Melo once she does return, as it is clear she will be making her in-ring return soon now that she has been medically cleared.
