AEW All In included some surprises, but Ricochet’s debut for the company was expected. After all, it was already reported that he signed a multi-year deal. He showed up during the Casino Gauntlet match, where many fans criticized the move for losing him in the shuffle. During the August 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, the One And Only got to have his first actual match with the company.

Ricochet vs. Don Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher was the former WWE 24/7 Champion’s first singles match in Tony Khan’s company. Naturally, fans in Champaign Illinois were very excited about seeing Trevor Mann do his thing.

The One And Only got started fast, and he was spot for spot with Kyle Fletcher. Don Callis was on commentary, and even he had to be impressed when the former WWE Speed Champion gained the advantage after a high spot.

Ricochet took some abuse after that as they ran through a commercial break, but he mounted a comeback when the words from sponsors were over. Ricochet nailed a springboard clothesline to take out Fletcher as fans chanted him on. Then he started laying in some punches and a spingboard back elbow. Then Ricochet hit a kick and a Northern Lights suplex and a bomb followed by a running shooting star press and a kick out.

Ricochet nailed a loud paid of chops and a lariat before he ate a clothesline of his own. Eventually, Fletcher couldn’t get the pinfall, and Ricochet mounted a comeback after he reversed out of a tombstone piledriver attempt. Then he nailed a Vertigo and won the match with a clean pin. Will Ospreay came out to confront Ricochet, but one he laid down the International Title, Pac jumped in out of nowhere to take him out with a reverse hurricanrana on the stage. The Pac welcomed Ricochet to AEW, but told him to “get to the back of the line.”

We will have to see what is next for Ricochet in AEW. He is getting off to an interesting start at this point. He certainly has a ton of potential, and he will be All Elite for years to come.

What’s your take on Ricochet’s AEW debut? Is Tony Khan already misusing him? Let us know what you think in the comments section!
