Rey Mysterio Provides Positive Health Update After Undergoing Stem Cell Treatment

Rey Mysterio is credited as one of the greatest luchadors in the history of professional wrestling, with a career spanning over two decades. However, a storied and lengthy career like that has come with its fair share of injuring and Mysterio recently underwent treatment to become pain free.

The Master of the 619 took to his Instagram to share that he underwent comprehensive stem cell therapy treatment at RejuvStem in Cancun to address persistent pain in his knees, ankles, shoulders, and wrists. This involved a stem cell IV, localized stem cell injections in both knees, shoulders, and wrists, the Myers cocktail IV, Shockwave Therapy, and an hour in a Hyperbaric Chamber.

On July 17th of this year I had the opportunity once again to enhance my body’s well being by repairing it with a good dosage of stem cell therapy with my friends @rejuvstem in the port of Cancun.
For the past couple months prior to the treatment I had been waking up with constant pain around my knees, ankles, and shoulders. Very tight around the ankles and soreness all throughout my body & quite honestly was mentally preparing myself for another round of stem cell therapy. After a month of following up with therapies like infrared sauna, red light therapy, cold plunges, and massages, Mysterio revealed that he woke up completely pain-free for the first time on August 19th. His body is now in the healing process, and Rey stated that he felt incredible. Alongside Rey Mysterio, other WWE superstars like Sami Zayn and Ivar have also undergone stem cell treatment for their nagging issues and have also seen great results.

Furthermore, Rey Mysterio has been in the prime shape of his career; however, he also recently revealed that he feared his career would come to an end due to his Hall of Fame induction last year. Nevertheless, Mysterio continues to be a top fixture for Monday Night RAW and is currently leading the charge of the LWO while possibly navigating the last leg of his wrestling days, now without much pain.
